@@Doombebe The bright side of owning a licence and not a specific copy is that, in most countries, you have the right to store the game any way you like. For exemple, in most countries it's perfectly legal to download a game that you buy on CD, because you own the licence... But it's illegal to upload it because you cannot distribute it... It's stupid but it's the law. It's the same for every software on licence. For exemple, If you have a PS1 you can legaly play on PS1 emulators, but only to the games you already own on CD... And technically speaking you would have to extract the BIOS from the chip yourself because nobody have the right to distribute it... It's important to note that some games have more complicated licences... For exemple, a game with DRM or permanent internet connection generally have licence that do not allow you to play without them, thus you cannot download them.
Activision: *get’s backlash for attacking the community for literally no reason even though the community is making their game sell more* Mojang: Oh that looks like fun, I’m gonna do that too!
What are you talking about
@@Why_does_this_exist_KZhead I’m talking about game companies sabotaging their own games for no reason, like with how someone made a system that allowed people to play Black Ops 3 without getting hacked and how Activision sent the creator a cease and desist when he was making them money, heck BO3 was the most successful COD game on Steam right before this happened
@Matt-zu2lu yes but unlike activision, mojang actually cares about it’s playerbase, and i almost guarantee that you dont play the gun servers ur just complaining to complain, which is annoying
@@Scapper sorry that I didn’t fans of these mods and servers to loose out for no reason, I didn’t realize having sympathy was so annoying. Next time I’ll just be an asshole and point and laugh at them, will that get make you happy?
@@Scapperyou can gaurentee what someone thinks based on what they comment alone?.. damn bro give me whatever you’re smoking I wanna read minds too.
Banning any kind of third party mod that a player has to *_choose_* to install is just peak stupid.
"Mojang are DELETING Hypixel" *proceeds to explain that Mojang isn't deleting hypixel*
Mojang should let almost anything go. The point of Minecraft is pure creative freedom. It’s not just some kids game.
Go tell them. Or try, because frankly they wont care. They're 100% confident about their decisions, they made that very clear with the chat report system
These are the same people who thought it was insensitive to add sharks or fireflys.
The big boys up at Microsoft won't let anything somewhat offensive fly no matter what. While Mojang being sold to Microsoft allowed Minecraft to get a much larger and diverse dev team which subsequently led to a lot of interesting content being added, it also is slowly turning Minecraft into a corporatized blob that is filled with censorship.
@@spugbgobparewantswe have notch to blame for this, the man himself admits it was a mistake to sell his company and game
@tearex8688 the sharks aren't added because they can't add hostile mobs that don't follow a certain mythology, I forget which one
Mojang:Bans gun mods Gunpowder:exists
Also the fact that you can build whatever you want in the game so it’s like they banned Jenny mod but I can make that out of wool if I wanted too and same with guns I can just build a pixel art of a gun and they can’t ban blocks. Actually they probably will end up banning blocks ngl notch made a mistake selling the game to Microsoft
@@zacvh I can appreciate one less avenue for little Timmy to be presented with unsolicited pornography. It was on curseforge for Christ’s sake.
@@sorrowmg278 guess what if you’re kid is on the internet then that is the avenue. It isn’t mojangs job to make sure kids can’t access porn it is their parents responsibility 😂
@@zacvhIf people were better than they are now a lot of problems would be solved. Why shouldn’t Minecraft take that mod down?
@@zacvh Also I’d like to clarify I’m not talking about fixing the problem in full by getting rid of one mod it just makes objective sense to remove that shit when it adds sexual content to a game that is marketed toward actual children and otherwise does not have any. Could you give me a legitimate reason it should stay while you’re at it?
Everyone is saying that Mojang is banning weapon mods because of children, but in reality they are banning these mods for fear of copyright in the name of the weapons
You know what's better than preventing kids from seeing guns? Teaching them to respect them.
And that ladies and gentlemen. Is how the nation of Minecraft fell, after all, every good thing comes to an end.
ye
Facts I still play Minecraft sometimes when I'm bored
No because you can still build guns in the game with the blocks so
@@zacvh what? that's completely different
@@zacvh that's not what I meant. I'm talking about mods, the removal of all references to guns means that the game will be inevitable decapitated. Alot of Mini games on multiple servers have guns that are coded in, and with the gun reference removal comes bitter resentment and a large cut in players. Eventually fortnite will have more players altogether because of that
This is why I'm never deleting the Jenny mod. I feel as if it is my duty to keep historical artifacts preserved.
Just gotta play it on a slightly older version. Trying to set that up myself cause I want to see what everyone has their hair in a twist about
@@Argento_Wolf Have fun, innocent one!
@@briandust193 hol up hol up... why did you download that mod in the first place?
@@Selevers-eclipse MY SAME QUESTION 💀 good on them for preserving history tho???💀
Shit, now I need to download it too. I wonder how to do so without getting a virus now…
“It’s bad to promote guns” Me with a line of red stone leading to a comically large cache of tnt in the middle of a village: “totally agree. Absolutely horrible stuff.” *places down redstone torch*
So they’re trying to tell me Shooting animals in Minecraft is violent, but beating them to death with swords, tools, even blocks and fists isn’t?
I REALLY hope Hypixel doesn’t get rid of these gamemodes, they’re some of my favourites!
even the j3nny thing?😏
@@OtaK- thats not hypixel
So you want hypixel to get removed
@@josieulson6425 Um, what??
@@OtaK- modders deserve freedom, thats not a hypixel thing thats a mod thing. Its stupid they even banned it. The moment a game goes for its modders it becomes a dead game. Time for them to learn this the hard way.
They don't like guns but it's okay to brutally kill enemies with swords, axes, and bows? Okay Mojang...
Because guns does not even fit or belongs to a game that isnt fps?? Hello kids this game is all about having fun and surviving while creating random shit lol.
@@youssef1770Bad take
@@youssef1770from this i don't know if this is serious or not... plz don't be
@@youssef1770hey there sorry to burst your bubble but kids don't actually play much minecraft anymore. They are into games like fortnite which features several firearms. Vanilla minecraft should not have guns obviously but if guns don't fit in minecraft how do cars, cell phones, planes, or literally any mod that you can add to the game from furniture to custom city maps for role-playing.
@@youssef1770many kids game has guns Fortnite, cod even tho it’s not a kid games kids play cod
Mojang shouldn’t be able to dictate mods, as long as it’s not in the base game it’s not their domain anymore.
Mojang doing this not only is like pressing a big red button of war either they get harassed so much that they have to fix it or people accept it
Minecraft: removing guns for being to violent. Also Minecraft: you can kill people by beating them to death with a pickaxe, burn them alive, hack them with an axe, brain them with an anvil, use chemical weapons to kill or poison them, drowned them, and or die from starvation. 😁 kid friendly
Yeah honestly a gun is more humane than most of the shit like you can make punji sticks with dripstone
I call it hypocrisy.
It has gotten to the point where I can't even swear offline in my private worlds.
that point isnt that far to the point you are restricted to play offline worlds after you just hit a villager
Terraria with their guns: Wait our game is supposed to be kid-friendly?
Mojang: we don’t want to promote violence with guns… Also Mojang: “promotes” violence with bladed weapons, bows, and crossbows as well as explosives….
