Minecraft: Java Edition (formerly just Minecraft) is the original version of Minecraft, developed by Mojang Studios for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Notch began development on May 10, 2009, publicly releasing Minecraft on May 17, 2009. The full release of the game (version 1.0.0) was on November 18, 2011, at MINECON 2011.
Bedrock Edition (officially subtitle-less; also known as the Bedrock editions, Bedrock versions, or just Bedrock) refers to the multi-platform versions of Minecraft developed by Mojang Studios, Xbox Game Studios, and SkyBox Labs and based on the Bedrock codebase. The latest Bedrock Edition version is 1.18.2.
Although all Bedrock editions are nearly identical, the price[note 1] varies depending on the platform. The Android version costs US$7.49 (£5.41), while the iOS/iPadOS and Fire versions cost US$6.99 (£5.05). The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions cost US$19.99 (£14.45). The Windows version costs US$26.99 (£19.51), and the Nintendo Switch version is the most expensive, costing US$29.99 (£21.68). DLC purchased from the Marketplace on one platform is usable on all other platforms, but the game itself is sold separately on each platform. Xbox Live achievements are not shared between platforms and buying the game on one of these platforms does not get the game on the others. The Xbox One and Windows versions are also playable to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers respectively, with both versions playble to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 respectively via backward compatibility. As with all other versions of Minecraft, updates are free of charge. On Windows, the game can be launched via the Minecraft Launcher.

  • Here's the entire list on my opinion why they added those features on Bedrock only. 1 - They instant trade because they wanted the block of gold.... soo baad! 2 - Mojang refused cuz it's a block mob.... :( 3 - It'll look realistic. 5 - Our villagers can sorta like dance at some point. 6 - It's the disc dispenser. 7 - The animation of sleeping is too realistic. 9 - Ummm, that's... a bug? NANI?! 11 - Wait... Is it real and possible? I did it before but I don't know now. 12 - Zombies are too dumb but hey, that baby zombie rode on its back. 13 - For those who didn't download the music. 14, 15- Rails aren't op for us. 16 - We have no entity cramming option. So yeah. 18 - We call item frame as a full block 19 - We don't waste durability. 21 - Again for the realistic. 22 - It's a soft block so no damage taken. 23 - Yes. We can. 26 - Yep. Our armour stands have arms! 28 - It's the proper look that they really ate those. 31 - “To look realistic” 33 - We have the sounds of the real dolphins. 35 - Ah yes. Bedrock runs smoothly even if your render distance is at max. 36 - Uh, we can color them I guess. 39 - That's a cool feature for us. 40 - Yep. It's a really good feature. 41 - That cute parrot can dance in the shoulder! 😍 44 - We can place redstone on nearly anything. 45 - To know what color it is. 46 - That's a lame feature but good I guess. 47 - We can complete the set. 48 - We love our armour stand arms! 49 - Because they're full block? 51 - To make it even more realistic. 53 - It's raining dude. 54 - Literal Long Reach. 55 - They're not just furnitures, they are blocks. 56, 57 - What, that's a feature? 59 - Our bell is down low. 60 - We safely place them. 61 - Idk, why. 63 - Before, we have that feature. 64 - There's an invisible platform or floor that represents the void. 65 - We ain't waiting and wasting xp. 66 - It's right that the boat burns. 67 - That's a nice feature. 69 - There's a delay! NO! 70 - Uh, that's right I guess. 74 - Satisfaction Guaranteed. 76 - Spiders are too scared to climb Magma. 77 - But why though? 78 - Charge Creeper Hacking. 79 - We thought that Honey Block is a full block. 80, 82 - We know that Stonecutter is not just a decoration. 83 - Fox.exe not working. 84- They're not just a decoration block. 85 - Season in MC! 86 - We can leash a boat!? 88, 89 - Of course, you're on fire. 93 - We can do that. Yeah. 94 - Super Bouncy Slimy Fish? Huh? 95 - That's gotta be fixed. 96 - We can hack. 97 - BOOM! Straight line. 99 - The realistic level. 100 - The Wither that is needed to be opposite of the other version. Edit: Whenever I type, it's getting laggy.

  • 14:40 - может конечно нельзя пёрлом через тонкие стены пройти, но есть кое что, с помощью которого можно пройти внутрь любого блока - ЛОДКИ (ставишь на последний пиксель который разделяет пол и стену, и лодка проходит сквозь стену и пол)

  • The thing about ZFazt that makes him different to Spectator, Alexa Real, or Steveee is that ZFazt put effort into making different individual intros and different Background Music for each Occasion, and also edit in some memes here and there. While Steveee's strategy is simply just to upload so much stuff so Rapidly like there ain't gon be no tomorrow which is still kinda crazy. And Spectator just never stops with his creative ideas While Alexa Real is simply just a mixture of both Steveee and Spectator

  • 6:19 explicación del bug Al ser tantas flechas de daño cayendo al mismo tiempo sobre el jugador, minecraft se confunde y piensa que todas las flechas te dieron mientras estabas vivo. En minecraft bedrock la forma de soltar los items es diferente. Cuando mueres, el juego borra todas tus cosas y a la vez hace un spawn en tu ubicación de todas las cosas que se te borraron. Por lo tanto cuando minecraft se confunde ahí. Spawnea todos tus items x la cantidad de veces que mueres... o algo asi

  • I like bedrock more than java... i mean Potion / dye cauldrons, working day and night loops, The Aether portal, working piglin trade farm, music notes coming from the jukebox rotatable conduits, anvil safely land on slime ridable skeleton horses... but i hate when you want to place two blocks in one but fail , chicken circle but fail...weird door,fenceGate and trap door noises and more..

  • I gotta say, Bedrock has a way better redstone system than java, just the fact you can put repeaters under water is awesome, plus dust can actually go on path blocks, and you can put a lever on a piston and have that piston be able to push like 10 things javas piston cant, including chests which is a gift from heaven.

    • But you don't have the same connectivity and but powering and redstone on java feels way more smooth and you can make stuff way more compact, because you can detach blocks from sticky pistons which makes it overal a better experience. The only thing I like about bedrock's redstone is moving chests and moving dispensers.

    • @@lamborghinigamer For me that just frustrates me when a piston is activated without a proper connection. Good redstone should be consistent not convenient. Thats just my opinion though, i personally think javas redstone just doesn't make sense unless you have worked with it for a while and thats just not how it should be.

  • zFazT, you can leash boats try sneaking instead of flying. In java edition, holding shift will make you sneak, but if your flying your still sneaking but it may be hard to leash it because your just going down. The boat is on the floor, why fly?
