    • He had his most ice-time in the first period where he was trying to bait a fight. In the second and 3rd when the game opened up, he was basically benched. Also there is nothing wrong with this, the game called for it

    • @@RobTalksHockeyHey Rob. Thanks for the reply. Love your videos. Again, I'm going to have disagree. This isn't me looking back through the tape and trying to match up ice time and all that. I'm a lifelong Bruins fan who was watching every game back then. Thornton was never put on the ice to try to bait someone into a fight. Julien just did not employ him that way. There was no need. And of course his ice time was going to decrease throughout the series when more scoring was necessary. Besides that, as a fan, the rivalry at that time was magical. All the ups and downs, the pure hatred, the skills and the villains on both sides. Pure magic!

    • @@ryanhoarty1464this whole ordeal reminds me of what Craig Ramsay did in 2000 with the Flyers. He rolled 4 lines. In the 5OT game, it felt like Kent Manderville was taking 75% of the faceoffs once we hit the 2nd OT. The 4th line was a tough line for them

    • Here's the thing about that. After a hockey game, there aren't 500 RCMP holding automatic weapons, or riding on horses. When there's a protest and the government knows why we're angry, they send those.

  • 1. Carey Price was a beast. 2. Canadians fans crying it was intentional is pathetic. 3. That Canadian team was a flopping penalty bating team #8 in PPG, #20 in EV goals. That shit don't translate in playoff hockey where refs swallow their whistles. Sure they might of got past the Bruins but they never would of got past the Lightning, it took the the Bruins a miracle to beat them.

  • Your videos are cleverly crafted and well thought out, but i need to be a little bit critical. Your cadence of speech is borderline unlistenable at times. Not b/c you are saying dumb things but because you use WAY too many coordinating conductions and you emphasize them WAY too much. Not trying to be a dick here but when you do stuff like this it breaks the listeners concentration on the topic and focuses it on how that sounded a little strange. Keep making your vids bro, but i advise you to have someone listen to or read your script before you start rifling it off. There is great substance here you just need to refine your words more.

When you think of 'dirty' NHL hits this isn't usually the first to come to mind.. and probably isn't the most egregious in intent, but it is still one of the grossest hits I have ever seen. It is laughable that a scenario in which the POLICE had to investigate warranted no discipline from the NHL.
