  • Hello person reading this, if this reaches anyone. we're from different parts of the world, we lead different lives, we are different people. but yet, this piece, this video, has brought us together. and I will never meet you, but just remember we're still connected by this piece- by simply listening to it, together. it's crazy how the internet can bring people together, huh? and I hope you're doing more than "okay," and if you aren't, remember: you will be okay, and that's a promise. please be easy on yourself- it's been a tough year, I know, but we're almost over it, and you will be happy. I don't know how much you'll remember of this, but I'm glad that our lives intertwined in this little way. have a nice day, or night, and lastly, nice life...

She wanted me to let down my guard Well, you know what they say, it's better that way So, so you better hush and walk away [Pre-Chorus] We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no [Chorus] I can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh lord Can't go on without you, ooh ooh I can't go on, won't go on, living on, without you [Refrain] Woah yeah Woah ah [Verse 3] Well, was I supposed to wait for you sweetheart? And hide away the shame Yes I keep it all inside Though the thought had crossed my mind To do all the things I regret and we don’t want that [Pre-Chorus] We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no [Chorus] I can't, I can't, I can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh lord Go on without you, ooh ooh I can't go on without you babe Yeah [Bridge] Ahh, she loves me She loves me not She loves me My love's gon' love me [Verse 4] Oh so what is left but a broken man? Cause nothing hurts like a woman can [Outro] I can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh yeah Can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh Oh without you lord, without you Without you babe Oh lord You

I really connect with this song and feel like I've experienced exactly what he's singing about (betrayal, forgiveness, and the cruel way our hearts won't let go). Even more so after reading the lyrics, there is an uncanny resemblance to something I have gone through and I am in awe at how he has crafted his love and pain into something so easy to listen to, oh man it just does it for me.

    • You're right, they come across as very talented musicians with gravitas and no ego who take their craft seriously . The song is so soulful and whistful. Someone else commented on the fact that it was 7 minutes, didn't even realise how long the song was til they mentioned this... Their guitars are awesomly beautiful too. Will be coming back time and again to listen to them. Am amazed I have not ever come across them before today. These guys deserve to be huge. This is what real music, not the pap that gets churned out by the modern 'music industry', SHOULD sound like. Even tho' the lyrics are repetitive, I don't ever tire of listening to this song. They remind me a bit of Cigarettes After Sex, their songs have an incredibly haunting quality to them that just gets into your blood stream somehow as well.

  • Well they thought they were made for each other One thinking of one another Never thinking just for one second She would take a different attraction We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no I can't go on without you I can't go on without you Can't go on without you, yeah I can't go on without you Oh so, what's the point of breaking my sweet heart? She wanted me to let down my guard Well, you know what they say, it's better that way So, so you better hush and walk away We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no I can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh lord Can't go on without you, ooh ooh I can't go on, won't go on, living on, without you Woah yeah Woah ah Well, was I supposed to wait for you sweetheart? And hide away the shame Yes I keep it all inside Though the thought had crossed my mind To do all the things I regret and we don't want that We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no We don't want that We don't want that We don't want that Oh no I can't, I can't, I can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh lord Go on without you, ooh ooh I can't go on without you babe Yeah Ahh, she loves me She loves me not She loves me My love's gon' love me Oh so what is left but a broken man? 'Cause nothing hurts like a woman can I can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh yeah Can't go on without you I can't go on without you, oh Oh without you lord, without you Without you babe, without you Oh lord, you
