What a game, with so much scoring. Avalanche just a little bit too much for The Nashville to contain through out the game. Avalanche was just on top of their game and was not leaving that much room for errors for Nashville to come back capitalize on to come back and maybe make a game out of this game. What a performance by The Avalanche to pick up the win in game three of the first round.

Predators scored at like 7:04 ice time then the Avs at like 6:05... that's priceless.... in Nashville they have a post goal chant directed towards the goalie.... and in the last few years I've noticed they purposely wait to announce goals there to drag out the celebration.... in most buildings the goal announcement is typically done with in at least the 1st thirty seconds of resuming play.... if that had been the case here they may have been able to do there chant before the Avs scored again.... might want to reconsider that chant because if I was an opponent I would try even harder to make sure that chant remains quite like the Avs did in this game.... just a thought..... LET'S GO AVS.....LET'S GO AVS....

If you take one of the Avalanche players out of the game, prepare to face the consequences. While I don't believe Johansen intentionally aimed at Kuemper's face, I do believe that he antagonized him until the puck was out of the zone. This style of play does not surprise me from Nashville when they led the league in penalty minutes by a country mile. Let's not forget what Benning did to Cogliano in game 1. I mentioned how the Avs had to outperform themselves if Ingram repeated his game 2 performance. One of the two came true. The Avs surpassed their performance from game 2 by scoring 4 PP goals. Ingram, on the other hand, came back to earth with his below average outing. The nail on the coffin was when Toews scored on a slapshot. It baffles me how opponents continues to disrespect Cale Makar. Did they actually believe it was safe to change lines when he has the puck? He will always make the right play to give the Avalanche a great scoring opportunity. Toews' goal was just another example of how you should always fear Makar when he has possession of the puck. Hopefully, Kuemper will be okay. Even if he is good to go for game 4, I think it may be best for him to sit out and recover. The Avs got this series. They are going for the jugular on Monday. Until then, I'll be cheering for Calgary tonight because I can't have the Stars advancing with god mode Oettinger being active.

Really poor showing by the Nashville crowd. The seats were 1/3 empty at puck drop and the place was silent most of the night. Granted they were losing most of the night, but man its your home team trying to get one back! Turn up the energy!

I still have reservations about colorados line construction right now. I think Bednar is stuck in the it's worked so far to the tune of two 7 goal games and relatively high end danger chances for. But I also can't help but feel that there is another higher end gear to colorados lineup contruction that Bednar hasn't let loose yet since the return of Gabe to the lineup. Gabe has shown he is back and running at a good clip right now so not certain as to why Bednar doesn't want to re-unite him with Mack and Rants yet, fair chance that it could happen next game though since you have basically 3 games to drop the hammer. So the ultimate lineup that we haven't seen yet in my opinion is (preface being Cogs injury but should be back sooner than later and there is interchangeability to his spot for now): Gabe-Mack-Rants/Nuke Burky-Kadri-Nuke/Rants Lehk-Newy-Compher Cogs-Sturm-OC/NAK Was thinking that a double Barrled shot gun of Rants and Burky on opposing wings along with the lines high end passing could lead to lots of high end shots for both guys especially if Mikko picks up his play.

Never left a playoff game early before...just got home. Nor can I ever recall a playoff series (2004-present) in which our Preds have been down 0-3 en route to a high probability of being swept. This team is sloppy, lazy, undisciplined, Jekyll/Hyde consistently inconsistent, and may see the departure of yet another valuable asset in FF9 for nothing this summer....who btw has been on a fkn milk carton in this series. Btw...I'd like that 2nd round pick for Lauzon back. This Preds team is FUBAR. At least have the heart to go down fighting...snag a win on home ice ffs. I once remember a team in gold that just dominated on home ice.

What a game, with so much scoring. Avalanche just a little bit too much for The Nashville to contain through out the game. Avalanche was just on top of their game and was not leaving that much room for errors for Nashville to come back capitalize on to come back and maybe make a game out of this game. What a performance by The Avalanche to pick up the win in game three of the first round.

Predators scored at like 7:04 ice time then the Avs at like 6:05... that's priceless.... in Nashville they have a post goal chant directed towards the goalie.... and in the last few years I've noticed they purposely wait to announce goals there to drag out the celebration.... in most buildings the goal announcement is typically done with in at least the 1st thirty seconds of resuming play.... if that had been the case here they may have been able to do there chant before the Avs scored again.... might want to reconsider that chant because if I was an opponent I would try even harder to make sure that chant remains quite like the Avs did in this game.... just a thought..... LET'S GO AVS.....LET'S GO AVS....

If you take one of the Avalanche players out of the game, prepare to face the consequences. While I don't believe Johansen intentionally aimed at Kuemper's face, I do believe that he antagonized him until the puck was out of the zone. This style of play does not surprise me from Nashville when they led the league in penalty minutes by a country mile. Let's not forget what Benning did to Cogliano in game 1. I mentioned how the Avs had to outperform themselves if Ingram repeated his game 2 performance. One of the two came true. The Avs surpassed their performance from game 2 by scoring 4 PP goals. Ingram, on the other hand, came back to earth with his below average outing. The nail on the coffin was when Toews scored on a slapshot. It baffles me how opponents continues to disrespect Cale Makar. Did they actually believe it was safe to change lines when he has the puck? He will always make the right play to give the Avalanche a great scoring opportunity. Toews' goal was just another example of how you should always fear Makar when he has possession of the puck. Hopefully, Kuemper will be okay. Even if he is good to go for game 4, I think it may be best for him to sit out and recover. The Avs got this series. They are going for the jugular on Monday. Until then, I'll be cheering for Calgary tonight because I can't have the Stars advancing with god mode Oettinger being active.

Colorado does this every year. Beat up on a wildcard team then get too much time off before round 2. Hope it doesn't happen again because they are fun to watch, but wouldn't surprise me.

Considering they've been without their starter, and in a couple instances, their backup during the last few years, I'd say the Avs are fine. Weird is Kuemper will be alright. Cut above the eye.

Really poor showing by the Nashville crowd. The seats were 1/3 empty at puck drop and the place was silent most of the night. Granted they were losing most of the night, but man its your home team trying to get one back! Turn up the energy!
To be fair, scheduling the game for 3:30 was dumb. Several large universities had their graduation ceremonies in downtown Nashville this afternoon, and traffic and congestion was atrocious.
Someone should tell Nashville it's not a good idea for all your players to leave the ice at the same time when the other team is headed into your zone at 6:50.

I definitely saw him when he charged LOC from across about a mile of open ice.
I still have reservations about colorados line construction right now. I think Bednar is stuck in the it's worked so far to the tune of two 7 goal games and relatively high end danger chances for. But I also can't help but feel that there is another higher end gear to colorados lineup contruction that Bednar hasn't let loose yet since the return of Gabe to the lineup. Gabe has shown he is back and running at a good clip right now so not certain as to why Bednar doesn't want to re-unite him with Mack and Rants yet, fair chance that it could happen next game though since you have basically 3 games to drop the hammer. So the ultimate lineup that we haven't seen yet in my opinion is (preface being Cogs injury but should be back sooner than later and there is interchangeability to his spot for now): Gabe-Mack-Rants/Nuke Burky-Kadri-Nuke/Rants Lehk-Newy-Compher Cogs-Sturm-OC/NAK Was thinking that a double Barrled shot gun of Rants and Burky on opposing wings along with the lines high end passing could lead to lots of high end shots for both guys especially if Mikko picks up his play.
Goalies are only good if they are infront of the net not behind.

Never left a playoff game early before...just got home. Nor can I ever recall a playoff series (2004-present) in which our Preds have been down 0-3 en route to a high probability of being swept. This team is sloppy, lazy, undisciplined, Jekyll/Hyde consistently inconsistent, and may see the departure of yet another valuable asset in FF9 for nothing this summer....who btw has been on a fkn milk carton in this series. Btw...I'd like that 2nd round pick for Lauzon back. This Preds team is FUBAR. At least have the heart to go down fighting...snag a win on home ice ffs. I once remember a team in gold that just dominated on home ice.
