He didn't play the puck, didn't even try to stop Evans from scoring. He had one thing on his mind; make a dirty hit. And that dirty unnecessary play was more important for him than saving his team. That's the same genius that got a penalty after hitting Chariot in the head for no reason as his team was desperately trying to get back in the game. He just doesn't care. What a loser.

This Canadiens team is really growing on me. They entered the playoffs as arguably the least impressive team of them all. Looked like they were gonna get eliminated 4-1 against the Leafs, but stuck together and found ways to win with clean but hard, efficient hockey. Also really happy for Corey Perry, who’s been kind of underrated his whole career. Many people hate him for some of his antics throughout the years. When on top of his game tho he’s a really special player, almost unique imo. A feisty guy who plays on the edge and will never shy away from physicality, but also possesses silky mitts and an uncanny ability to find the net or a teammate’s stick in tough situations. When he won the Hart Trophy a decade ago he scored 50 goals and also racked up like 100+ penalty minutes. That tells you all you need to know about Perry’s mix of elite scoring ability and gritty mentality. Obviously he’s not elite anymore, but turning out to be a major asset for MTL in these playoffs nonetheless.

This Canadiens team is really growing on me. They entered the playoffs as arguably the least impressive team of them all. Looked like they were gonna get eliminated 4-1 against the Leafs, but stuck together and found ways to win with clean but hard, efficient hockey. Also really happy for Corey Perry, who’s been kind of underrated his whole career. Many people hate him for some of his antics throughout the years. When on top of his game tho he’s a really special player, almost unique imo. A feisty guy who plays on the edge and will never shy away from physicality, but also possesses silky mitts and an uncanny ability to find the net or a teammate’s stick in tough situations. When he won the Hart Trophy a decade ago he scored 50 goals and also racked up like 100+ penalty minutes. That tells you all you need to know about Perry’s mix of elite scoring ability and gritty mentality. Obviously he’s not elite anymore, but turning out to be a major asset for MTL in these playoffs nonetheless.
