Guy Martin is once again in his garage and creates a massively souped-up speedy version of a Piaggio Ape, the tiny Italian three-wheeler, and heads to southern Europe for a race. On his journey Guy tests out some Robin Reliant's and quickly realises how tricky it is to drive with three wheels. Can he beat Italian racers at their own game or will his alternative design lead to disaster?

definetly too rear heavy though... and new front end with double forks needed as well... :)
I think the Italians were using 600cc for a reason if the front wheel is off the ground steering becomes an issue 1000cc probably a bit too much.
His enthusiasm and joy for these shenanigans is infectious.
Awesome! It's not the same but I had a Honda 3 wheeler ATV back in the 80s. Tipped that damn thing so many times & there were definitely a few hospital visits. 🤣
Great video! Use to own a Honda atc350x and had it on a race track a couple of times. You don't want lots of grip on the rears, less gives you more
