I will make a separate video for the Prime series. Since this video is already way too long as it is, I wanted to keep it to the „main“ Metroid games here. Also: Taking damage from Mother Brain's Hyper Beam, the Omega Metroid in Fusion and Queen Metroid's acid in Other M is scripted and outside of the player's control.
The can I will be can just bosses
Scripted damage? Excuses excuses But actually crazy gameplay here nice job! I can barely beat some of the Dread bosses
@@user-dy9nr9yg4o Wdym, Excuses?
Super Metroid Ridley without taking damage is insanely impressive.
Not only did they make the “Samus is Metroid” meme canon, *they made it terrifying.*
You've become the very thing you've been fighting off... To your advantage at least XD
@@yourcordialvermillionchapw2398 but is that really a good thing?
Wait. The protagonist calls samus?
What makes that fact even more scary is that in the same game that Samus becomes part Metroid, there's a virus that has copied her and can use the ice beam from super to exploit her new weakness to cold
@@michaelkowal3230 the X-Parasites.
Metroid Fusion was the very first Metroid game I've ever played. And as a result, not only is it one of my favorite games, it also contains some of my favorite bosses in all of Metroid.
Did the SA-X freak you out?
@michaelkowal3230 Yes it did.
It's a masterpiece. Ridley is something else. The screaming sounds so crazy 😮🤣
How do you find Dread, since it’s a sequel to Fusion?
@theakiwar9118 It was definitely a good game, but was it brutal. I don't know why, but I'm still stuck on the fight with Raven Beak. I can get by the 1st phase with some issues, but I can at least get through that phase. But when Phase 2 comes in, and he's start flying, I just keep on dying, over and over and over again. Even on the easiest setting, I've yet to beat Raven Beak.
1:01:30 Raise your hands, who got pissed off at Adam for not authorizing the Varia Suit function sooner?
What I want to know is why he didn't just, let her use the full suit. Okay sure, no special weapons, but Jesus, at least leave the suit. Not like her wearing the suit is going to kill everyone... oh wait
Did you know this sequence is stranger in the japanese version? Adam is trying to get Samus to turn on her varia suit, and out of spite, Samus continues on without using it, until he forces her to turn it on.
@@nikxneon6615 thats... very stupid. Both scenarios are stupid. Other M sucks
I’ll do you one better. Raise your hands, who got pissed off at Samus for putting up with that even after the situation went south? I suppose I could understand why Adam would want certain weapons off at the start (though as mentioned by another reply it doesn’t make sense why that should apply to suit features like the Varia Suit and Speed Booster) but when crap hit the fan, it should have been gloves off, safeties off.
@@MetaFanWing and that is why Other M failed. The gameplay might've been alright, but past that, the story sucks.
46:53 when I first played Zero Mission this boss creeped me the hey out as a kid
I still remember the day I got my first Metroid game with my Super Nintendo. Originally it wasn't the game I wanted, but as I played it with my cousin it became one of my favorite games of all times, and it still holds up excellently against any of the newer metroid games.
The modern Metroid games also use Super Metroid as a foundation. Heck, it took over 22 years to get a 2D Metroid game that wasn't a Super Metroid clone.
Super Metroid and Fusion fucking hard carry metroid series with ease
This is a great idea for a video. I am glad I found this. So awesome.
That’s crazy epic!
I was today years old when I found out the Spider Ball can keep you on the ground when dropping bombs in that one robot boss in Samus Returns. I was doing it the hard way this whole time! D:
I am amazed at your ability to switch weapons so quickly in Super Metroid.
Aren't we all a shapeless amoeba on the inside like every boss in Metroid Fusion
Fuck yeah my guy
Amazing☺
Amazing playing. Unbelievable!. I'm proud to be human 😅 Amazing games.
theres no metroid prime 1 2 or 3, and those are in fact part of the metroid series
Wrong
Fusion is such a great game (and hard at least as far as I have seen)
Samus and Ridley really be brawling bro
Where is the Metroid Prime series?
I know right. I was like what the heck why am I taking damage from mother brain in super metroid
I don't care what anyone says... I LOVED other M. It was beautiful and just different. I love seeing the may forms of ridley and also the desbrachian fight and theme.
I too thought the Other M was a great game.
dread was best for me until I saw other M

全部ノーダメージとは恐れ入る
My first metroid was super metroid. I think it should be a remaster or rework for this game after Prime 4
The RIdley fight from Super Metroid is genuinely Impressive I'm a master at all things Metroid and even I can't kill him w/o taking any Damage.
Despite all the hate Other M's story telling tends to get, the combat is still pretty top notch and still make you feel like a badass when you dodge and do the lethal strike.
Where are the Metroid Prime games?
You should call this True Boss Rush. All bosses of one series, and only ONE. SHOT.
looking for an old certain game. I remember it just similar to ninja gaiden or castleveinia in term of gameplay. The game have a stage that is when you reach to a certain map you will see the whole background of the map is black. the entire map have lot of giant iron bar maybe the color of the iron bar is white. It's like a giant prison because behind the those iron bar is the princess stuck and imprison behind the bar. when you reach at the end of that prison map you will see princess behind the bar and a boss ready to fight you. I don't remember if defeat the boss will rescue the princess behind those giant iron bar. the princess size is just as big as the character player control. Anyone of think of?
And the prime series?
Awwww yeah take this star wars
I really wish I could pull off the no Damage. I’m very impressed.
Before you get too excited, this isn't legitimate gameplay.
@@8BitNESExploits yea well to me it’s kind of hard to pull off the no damage unless you’re really good at certain games.
@@8BitNESExploitsHow so? Is it tool assisted? Are you just jealous or a troll? Where can I find your video of “legitimate” gameplay??
The fact that metroid dread just goes "SUPRISE!1 THE X PARASITE IS BACK!1!1" And makes that insane fucking ending is amazing
ya I'm a badass
@24:56 that's a lot of damage
Mother Brain's Hyper Beam attack is scripted thus it doesn't count as getting damage. You have to 'take damage' in the scripted part in order to proceed in game.
@@Kislesko_YTInsert April, since that's tomorrow, "It was a joke..."
@@Kislesko_YTAlso my first was a reference to kzhead.info/sun/fLqofbJ-kWlnn4E/bejne.html
Wow
Does the Prime Saga of the Metroid series not count in this one?
It’s classified as its own separate series, but it takes place in the same universe.
@@yellowjacket6205 it's a sub series
I am beyond baffled as to why you did not do kraid quick kill
12:55 caseoh
Nevermind
First metroid: fairly calm Metroid dread: HOW WOULD YOU ENJOY NIGHTMARE FUEL?! I hated the red chozo soldier so much, and kraid Edit: Yellow EMMY is speed
Uh you missed the vine wall and nightmare
In Fusion?
Yeah
1986 - 2021*
Also, wow I can't believe there's an entire 30 minutes in this video between zero mission and Samus returns where absolutely *nothing* happens! That's so crazy. Other M is trash and I'm glad the people behind it didn't get picked to make dread. Mercury steam fucking earned the right to make that legendary title.
I won't ever make past the very first boss.
Should have played the Famicom version of Metroid to fight Kraid and Ridley at their full power. Their A.I is slightly better due to the superior hardware.
Its because TAS is like a game genie........ it looks good but its not that deep.
It feels strange to see someone not use glitches exploits and cheese methods to kill super Metroid bosses 1 You can get super missiles before spore spawn and it makes it easy 2 Kraid can be killed before he stands up if you quickly fire 3 super missiles in his mouth 3 Why are you fighting Crocomire with such a low misslile/super count and without varia? Or the speed booster. 4 Why are you not using missiles on phantoon they are actually better than super missiles. 5 Why did you not use the X-ray scope plasma beam glitch to kill him very fast. And why do you not have the plasma beam? And for the beam cores in fusion you can stand above a platform and fire downwards to be invincible. Also why did you show the wave beam boss before the plasma beam boss? They don't happen that way in story order, Good job on using the charge beam over missiles later in Metroid fusion Nice job on speed booster killing z-57 very cinematic For some of Golzunas attacks you can just jump up and flash shift behind him to not have to dodge those difficult energy balls
To have the plasma before killing dryghoon you need to do the murder beam glitch in the hidden room in the vertical hallway of the ancient tourian
whoops
The very beginning of the video is showing Samus using a combination wave & ice Beam which does not exist in the first Metroid. What you see Samus firing in Mother Brain's lair is what she's supposed to have. Wave Beam exists in M1 only as an easy way to kill Ridley from below IMO, but serves little to no purpose ultimately.
where is the prime saga??? If it is also part of the Metroid saga, since fighting with Dark Samus is epic, I don't know why this channel never mentions the Prime trilogy. Could it be that he has never played it or is he seriously hating that trilogy, which was the best?
I wanted to do the Prime series separately, since this video is already long enough. The Prime are my favourite Metroid games and I finished them all.
Where is metroid prime
Other M is always an interesting game to me. Gameplay-wise, it's actually pretty good and fluid. Storywise, is where a lot of people have issue with it. And granted, a LOT of storybeats are questionable at times, with the OBVIOUS one in particular that enrages fans and makes no sense.
It's kind of sad how Nintendo lost their way with Metroid after Fusion. I'm just glad that Dread is a return to form, with lots of puzzle elements involved in the boss fights. They even allowed another metroid remake to go ahead "post-cancelation," and essentially cover their mistakes. It's very much a complete game, and has since been upgraded with customizability. I strongly recommend it over Nintendo's remake of Samus returns.

Well the best part of this more likely they ghost drop Metroid Prime 2 Remastered
No Metroid Prime, dislike.
Womp womp, Metroid prime sucks anyways
