@Chris C Honestly yeah, and with a diesel hybrid you can run it off of fryer oil too if gas prices get bad at any point. Ik the conversion kits are a pain and a half to install, but I heard something about a new diesel engine that could potentially run off of both so yeah. Definitely another good choice and it doesn't require solar panels on your roof to power 😂

Oh man this is such an amazing post of the Ford F-150 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. What I loved most is that it was done in a no-frills fashion and even a semi slip could not distract from how good this was. Also no swearing, blasphemy or disrespect and that is such a welcome departure from the many clips on KZhead. You absolutely rock. Take care and God Bless.

Great walk around. That spot on the tailgate for pens is a cell phone stand so you can watch KZhead tutorials while using the tailgate as a work bench. Oh and it’s got a bottle opener too!

Can we all just appreciate the lighting in the intro from shutting the lights off and the walk up to the lightning was just well done, not fancy editing just good use of lighting.

For a job site, this thing is a beast. I can picture contractors getting this on order immediately. Electric power to your tools, you can store your power tools and expensive stuff in the frunk, maybe an air compressor- it's all around awesome.
I really hope they implemented a way to have a "cut off" for that kind of use so you don't strand yourself at a jobsite by using all the power to run your equipment.

@yeh nah You don’t think they’re gonna make some kind of portable backup battery for long distances or start adding electric recharging stations at gas stations (or instead of gas stations) the limitations of electric vehicles are still there in a gas powered ones. Gas just has a bigger infrastructure…for now.

Ford is changing, also the name couldn't be any better. Lightning not only sounds cool but when you hear lightning a image of power comes to the mind, and it describes this vehicle completely
Yeah the name fits perfectly by being an EV and most importantly, it stays true to the heritage of the Lightning name by being a very fast F150.

I'm wondering if that second glove box, as you called it isn't something more. As I notice its right next to the ventilations system. My Dodge Journey has that compartment above the glove box as well, except its not just for storage. That sticky rubber inside on ours, is so our soda cans and what not don't slide around. Now I say soda cans because that compartment is connected to the ventilations system and with the air-conditioning turned on or even just the fan set to cold keeps our sodas cool or cold. Also works with the heater if you have a container that fits in there. There is also a lever on the inside left wall that opens and closes this compartment to the ventilation system.

Thank you for the intro of this new vehicle, for me I would like to know the range after it has a large load in the box, or even pulling a 5th wheel. These are important to myself moving forward. I currently run a F250 6.7 Diesel, and I see i am reduced approximately 15% less fuel mileage when i am pulling my trailer. Any chance we could get some of that information out there? Again Thank you
