  • I've been watching a lot of "Resin art for Beginners" for Epoxy resin, and so far, your video has been the only one that is very adamant on using gloves and ventilation and masks. The last four or so videos just don't point out that this is important, which makes people think it's not something that needs to happen. So I just wanted to thank you for showing that you are using gloves, and your mask, and keeping things in a safe manner. Also the coasters are beautiful. Thank you for this video.

  • Hi great video, I'm wanting to get into resin crafting so found your video great. Just wondered though, what was the reason for using liquid latex. I thought to stop the top coat resin from dripping over the edge but wasn't sure.

    @Flashpg@Flashpg Жыл бұрын
    • I am wondering the same-- the left two pieces don't have any on them, by the looks of it...and the right two would not have the top coat on them if they latex is removed-- it would stop the top coat from coating that section. I am really confused.

  • How do you do your top coat and not get it to run over the edge? And then have run marks? Is it a thicker top coat that you use? Thanks, your stuff is so beautiful!!!!

    @tlrmd4you@tlrmd4you2 жыл бұрын
    • The main part is pouring just the right amount of resin on the coaster. I usually start by pouring too little and then add more in spots that need it. If it runs over the edge I usually wipe it off the edge, but it can also fit into the geode shape! Hope this helps, thank you so much 😊

  • Hiii. Im in love with your work. But I always have this one question. How do you clean your products? Like I pour my resin into plastic beakers to mix and obviously my goal is to reuse them for my next project. But when the excess dries, it’s almost impossible to get the residue off of them. So is it just better to use disposable cups when mixing in and pouring my resin into my molds??😭😭😭

    @ButtercupCreations@ButtercupCreations Жыл бұрын
    • Silicone moulds are used to make specific shapes with resin/etc, if that was what you were talking about. For example: If you want to make a pig out of resin, you could buy a silicone pig mould and pour the resin into the mould to make a pig.

      @ninaleoni_neshana@ninaleoni_neshana Жыл бұрын
    • After the top coat is poured the coasters will become very shiny, glossy and with high volume. Most of the resins are heat resistant untill 70 degrees C and your clients wont be able to put a cup with hot coffee on it. The coaster will melt.Thats why is good if you put another heat resistant layer. :)
