Elon musk wont be able to create a full free speech platform. if he does his platform will be banned in big economic zones like the EU etc. the European commission is already coming with a new law forcing elon to do something about hate speech and mass miss information on his platform.
The problem is, so much of the media and social media and search engines are controlled by far left activists to some degree or other... that when something is "even handed" they call it "far right". I've learned in the last few years that Diversity and Inclusion doesn't include me, or anyone who looks like me. You feel the hate, the irrational cult like gaslighting, just pouring off the left.
Notes is one of the best improvements done in Twitter (X) so far💪🏾💪🏾⏫⏫!
Community notes is fantastic. Only a platform dedicated to truth would implement something like it.

It's a way to potentially stop the polarising effect of social media . I hope more social media platforms implement something similar on what kind of posts are upvoted or downvoted. Would combat the echo chamber effect
Community Notes is great except in instances where its 'sources' it uses to back up a note are simply editorial articles from partisan news journalists which does happen a lot actually.

That has always been true for the far left. Luckily they are a small - if loud - minority compared to regular left leaning or moderate people. That being said, the moderation for Twitter really deteriorated recently, and since the alt right is also a very loud minority, they make up a disproportionate amount of the content. I also think that many left leaning people have left the site, further contributing to this shift.

I fail to see how this makes sense or is relevant. Basically if one rewords this using less pretentious language then it is something like this "Expressing or feeling regret/remorse for one's wrong doings is something people with unskilled morality really dislike". wtf is that? it is kinda like a word salad. Of course immoral people don't like or don't feel regret/remorse when they do immoral things since being immoral is kinda their thing. Also moralism can be a dangerous thing that is like the excrement from religion. The issue is that human morality isn't some fixed point we can all set our moral compasses to, if you will, but rather it is a moving target that can be in a considerably different location in "morality space" depending on the time and location. Just as an example, one can pick any arbitrary populated location on earth, pick any arbitrarily long time period, and they will find that the vast majority of what the vast majority of people in that area at those times see as morally just or unjust are drastically different. There will be some obvious similarities but with the larger the time frame the larger the overall differences will be. As another example, in Chicago IL United States roughly 150 years ago it was seen as immoral in some way for a woman to wear pants but today just saying that or acting like that towards a woman is seen as an immoral act itself. If a woman would have said "that is stupid and it is cold outside so I'm wearing pants regardless of any absurd moralizing these idiots around me are doing" she would have been seen as immoral in some way.

It’s fascinating to me that people actually believe the 2024 election needs to be “kept honest”. Why? The 2020 election was fair and honest. The 2016 election was fair and honest. The 2012 election was fair and honest. And so on and so on. There was literally no stolen election or anything about the 2020 election that was corrupt. But Trump did such an amazing job of convincing his followers that it was stolen or at the least that there was fraud. He showed how if you just complain and whine long enough and loud enough and you keep on doing it over and over and over a certain percentage of people will eventually believe you. Even with literally zero evidence. Fascinating.
