  • Really appreciate the honest breakdown. As a Chael fan I was disappointed to see him mount Fedor and then get flipped so easily. Now I understand why-he was still rocked. Reminded me a little of the Tito fight where Chael had a dominant position early and still lost. Would have loved to see Chael v Bader.

    • Honest but he does seem to be leave out that roll flip move. That was a big risk but made for a very interesting fight!

    • @@jackwolf3948 Fedor's done that on so many great fighters though, even Randleman. It's probably a lil bit of column A (Chael's rocked) and column B (Fedor's very good at escaping from the bottom)

  • Chael man you are a gracious opponent and take the L really well it seems to barely effect you i'm sure it does a bit but it's so nice to see someone so sure of themselves it doesn't get to them in a super negative way. Thanks for the amazing fights and your commentary really is a pleasure.

  • Hey Chael! I don't know if you ever read the comments, but if you do, I want you to know that even though I am Russian myself and a great fan of Fedor, I am grateful to this tournament for getting to know you. I have watched lots of your podcasts and can tell that you are a very smart and cool man. I think you deserve a decent management position in Bellator or UFC. And... you said you hadn't seen the punches coming. That's because they came during your own attacks and human's brain is arranged so that we cannot control two actions simultaneously, I.e. when we attack, we cannot defend ourselves. But it's just details. Anyway, I'm wishing you all the best, man!
