  • 💥35K people from 68 countries💥came together in love, in solidarity, in peace in an Almaty, KZ stadium on 9-23-22 for the 4 hour concert (31 songs, I'm told) given by the young Kazakh musician whose divine voice touches souls & changes hearts. Below please read the brief speech that DQ gave to the audience before singing his newest composition, "The Story of One Sky" which will give you a better understanding of the song and Dimash's intentions. Sending this to you & yours, Dear, with Much Love & In Solidarity while Praying for Peace. "Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Thank you very much. We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents. And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation. I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next. But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true. We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children, we forget that we also have some things to learn from those children. They are pure-hearted, kind, friendly, untainted and without egos and their love for people are pure. Young children have such qualities. I started writing this song I'm about to perform, three years ago. Generally speaking, my main purpose in writing this work is to call for peace in the world. It's a small composition that has burst out from deep within my heart. To tell you truth, many thanks to god and with your wishes I traveled to many parts of the world and met many different people during my tours. One thing I understood is that if you look at ordinary people, there is no such thing as a bad nationality, there is no bad nationality! I don't need to tell you what you already know about the reason for mentioning the topic of nationality here... Let there be peace in the world, Let there be peace. Let there be no war. Let no people, let no nationality, let no country suffer! Because after all, ordinary individuals, ordinary people are not at fault. The truth of the matter is, no ordinary person is guilty of starting a war! That's why the next song I'll be performing in your honor is about our common fate under one sky, it's called "The Story of One Sky". Hope you like it." kzhead.info/sun/fKxwmMyLrmh5mY0/bejne.html

  • What I love about Dimash is that he does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story. How can you not admire and respect such a wholesome artist with a beautiful heart and soul? Dimash’s song, video, and message are so powerful and compelling: The Story of One Sky - that Dimash composed himself - is a heartfelt plea for peace and unity. Thus, although we are divided into different countries, races and faiths, we all share the same sky. We could feel his pain, passion, and desperation in his heavy metal like scream because he truly cares. Dimash has found his calling as an artist: presenting his Kazakh culture to the world, but also spreading compassion, love, respect, and unity through his voice and music. Indeed, in this short film (it’s more than a simple MV at this point!), Dimash is showing us that war is NOT the path to peace. War does not unite people like the antagonist preaches; but leads to “senseless horror”, destruction, grief, and death. At the end, he shows us the alternative to war by leading people from different faiths and cultures to the true path of peace and unity. At last, I admire Dimash’s strong conviction and courage. I hope that his heartfelt cry for peace and unity will be heard by many people around the world. Thank you so, so much for your genuine appreciation of Dimash’s talent and work. The Story of One Sky is such a compelling masterpiece! We’re choosing life… ☮️💟

  • This is Dimash's masterpiece promoting peace. He is extremely anti-war & often speaks out about it. He spoke at a conference for One Day of Peace 2 days ago & they showed this mv. His speech was fantastic & heart-felt. He stated that it's been 5,500 years since records began & it's only been not quite 300 years that have been war free. Mankind are not learning. He also said that his work in different countries has shown him that people are not bad, nations are not bad but political leaders are bad & they are the cause of war through greed & money & he's completely, 100% right. The reason the child was killed in the video is because so many children are maimed and killed through war all at the whim of political leaders & again he's 100% right. It has taken courage to put this out there in such a graphic way & I think it's time for that because we seem to have become immune to the suffering of those caught up in wars as it is happening far too often. When will mankind learn? Watch it a few times as i think we 'get' it much better then. Thank you for your reaction 👏👏

  • Thank you for your thoughtful reaction, Dear! My response focuses on a heartbroken, frustrated & downright angry young man's urgent message, not the phenomenal vocals he ordinarily is lauded for as this is what Dimash has instructed us to do, as well as, to promote it by sharing it far & wide & no one will not be allowed to react and/or share this one! My understanding is that there will be no blocking by him or his team! If you are blocked please let me know. DQ wants it shared and a global dialogue to ensue on how to establish & keep a "World Without War!" There's a lot to unpack & dependent upon a person's frame of reference, their interpretation of the video & DQ's message will undoubtedly be colored by their own preconceptions & life experiences, etc. My interpretation of his message this far is as follows: DQ's phenomenal 9-23-22 Almaty live performance of this composition and this MV are prophetic masterpieces of transcendental pro-planet/antiwar art activism & downright spiritual experiences wherein Dimash issues a sincere, passionate yet, heartbreaking call to action to "learn to love" one another again as we were taught as children & to stop --- all conflicts, all aggression, all wars --- for the real fight before us requires us to unite globally & engage in the fight to save our Mother Earth, "the sacred womb" from which all life sprung! Let us shun our "failing [self-serving Pied] Piper leaders" whose lunacy continues to lead us all to our mutual ruin & destruction by ignoring our species' fate as the "tightening noose" of climate change, hunger, poverty perpetually worsens whilst our "crazy leaders" instead waste precious time, limited resources & countless lives by choosing to "lead us to the slaughter" of these senseless, endless wars! Billions of lives STOLEN Billions of cells UNBORN Billions of souls FALLEN Billions of dreams UNREALIZED The verse that states we must "learn to share again the love, not shares" I believe means we must re-learn how to share our love in real time, person-to-person via one-on-one human connection in meaningful ways thru in-person acts of kindness such as compassionately, caring for the actual basic human needs of others or those that are emotional or physical in nature; all of which builds strong friendships, communities, nations and even friendships between nations unlike the superficial virtual "shares" that may be important only to one person's social media status & very well imaginary. DQ asks us to "learn to live again" as "we have passed the moment of "Imagine" (which is clearly a reference to Lennon's iconic song written of the utopia he dreamed of) & the "world as the feast" I believe means we as a species have caused so much irreparable damage to the planet resulting in droughts & famine that we are long passed former times of plenty & now must work very hard together to overcome our limited, finite resources or "Do we have to starve?" I feel as if DQ is asking us "what's it going to take" for us to "WAKE UP?" Children are (and have long been) dying of famine NOW. Further, DQ proclaims THIS is OUR LAST CHANCE, and that we must immediately act as there's "not a moment to lose" before either the Earth implodes or some crazed "Pied Piper" releases nuclear Armageddon upon the world! #TimesUp #ItsTimeToSaveTheEarth All I can say for certain is DQ's awesome composition and MV performance of this incredible composition of his has created the global dialogue seeking to understand it, each other and ourselves and has done more to promote a culture of tolerance he speaks of in his message at the end of the video than any other artistry I've witnessed in my 64 years of walking the planet! 🌏💚 He's successfully started the convo and it is up to us to keep it going by spreading this video & respectfully engaging with any & all so that we might unite in our common desire for peace under our shared one sky, Dears! You must watch this MV with an open mind & heart coming from a mindset of love & solidarity. I don't share the majority's view that Dimash survives nor is that his grownup baby born as he died at the end of the video. The video's progression follows the song's & builds in intensity as the pilgrims of all faiths continue their march upwards on a parallel spiritual plane & climaxes as the pilgrims experience a physical struggle with nature in the form of intense storm similar to the spiritual storm DQ experiences with the murder of his beloved daughter that is more than he can bear & his choice to seek revenge against his former friend who had long ago saved his life but who had chosen a dark & evil path. It is only after he has purged his spirit of the desire for revenge & killed his enemy (who had indeed become the enemy of humanity) & then DQ himself was subsequently killed by enemy soldiers did DQ's character's soul scream out from his watery grave that humanity has only one choice and #WeReChoosingLife !! In death his spirit joins the other spiritual pilgrims in their ascension to the One God we've all worshipped in our own ways through our own religions guided by our own prophets ever since the beginning of Creation. The journey for DQ & his fellow seekers continues on as what appears to be the morning of a hopeful new day is dawning. His infant child remains in the material world left only with his mother's talisman yet grows into a prophet who leads the people to peace, according to the music video's director; a theme that is not in conflict with my understanding of DQ's character's spiritual journey. Listen as Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, Christian voices intertwine into the One Voice that sings our shared Prayer to the One God. DQs virtuosity is spiritual in nature; he touches souls and changes hearts with his divine vocals. We must awaken spiritually. We must raise our collective human consciousness, unite, be as ONE --- live and let live --- & understand our shared fate under our shared sky. "Can we balance on the edge of a fiery grave" with all these competing self-interests & is it even possible to save our future on this planet? To avert our own extinction & achieve that utopian peace we all desperately need to survive as a species so that we might enjoy peaceful, prosperous lifetimes for ourselves & future generations, DQ begs us to #ChooseLife UNITE! Dimash is a empathetic, lyrical genius whose virtuosity serves as a conduit for the pure & wondrous light of Heaven as well as the pain & suffering of our human Hells-on-Earth (many of our own making); he is the most excellent ambassador for a peaceful planet & our survival we could ever envision in his childlike altruistic nature & unconditional love. #WeAreChoosingLife ☸✡☪✝🕉☯☮ #SaveTheEarth 🌏🌍🌎#SaveAllChildren

  • He's been writing this song for 3 years. From the composition to the MV storyline. I'm happy you heard the tears/sob in his voice, most people miss it. All singing parts is Dimash. Highs and lows. This is anti war video, doesn't matter which "side" you are on. The different religions, types of people, nationalities, it doesn't matter, we are all human and live under one sky. I feel that part in the desert when the people are walking represents his soul, and when the Jesus looking character dies/falls, is when the little girl dies (his fictional daughter). And the part where it becomes stormy is when his soul is in crisis and he's about to shoot/kill the "ruler/piper". Why wasn't it stormy when he was fighting the other soldiers you ask, because when fighting for ones life its do or die (in my opinion), but with the ruler/piper character, his life wasn't in danger, so he made a conscious decision to go kill him (hence the turmoil). You should watch the live version, breath taking and passionate. And Igor is only one of the composers he works with, there are others like Edilzhan Gabbasov, Igor Nikolayev, Renat Gaissin.

This is from Dimash's official page in the video description: "Dimash Qudaibergen's 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of the peoples of our planet. We are divided into races, nations and religions, but all We are children of the same planet and we live under the same sky. No holy book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to make millions of children suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, may there be peace in the world. We are children of a single home, of a single earth and of a single sky." May this message reach many people We are millions of Dears and "We choose life" Greetings from Venezuela

  • Thank you dear friend for having reacted to this masterful work. The metallic element that the boy "Dimash" used to make the pendant is a gnomon of a sundial of a maritime compass, the triangular blade is attached to the sundial in such a way that it casts a shadow on it and the hole is drilled lets in the sunlight, thus projecting its image. This gnomon was used both to navigate and to measure time and timing, it marks the true north and served as an orientation for navigators so as not to lose their way and to guide people. In the video it is used as a symbol of fraternity but the The antagonist, who will later become the president, bends the element in his hand and a bent gnomon cannot function and set the course, it will never show him the true North and therefore the boy in the future will lose his moral compass. Dimash has really taken it to another level with this cinematic work. This is more than just a music video, it's a wake-up call! If he doesn't win a prize with this masterpiece, I wonder what it will take. He is so invested in the well-being of humanity and in the unity of all peoples. He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, nothing less. You should react to the video (fancam) of Dimash performing this song live from his concert he did in Almaty on 23.09.2022 You can find this video on youtube. All the sounds he makes with his voice are real, he made them on stage. It's stunning and very emotional. From Canada🥰❤

  • This is by far the best explaination I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober: This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral l compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/.../american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

  • It was composed by Dimash himself. It took him the last 3 years. All the music you hear is his, all the singing voices is him. He also wrote the script. The little girl who was killed and the new born boy are Dimash's children on this story. The new born grows up and leads the whole Humanity, represented by people from different cultures and religions, to a better world where all live together peacefully, respecting each other, under the same one sky. Dimash told, he suffered a lot recording these scenes, you could see him crying out loud, the tears are completely real.

  • Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations: (1) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death! (3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon; (4) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church.

  • When Dimash premiered this song at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and gives context to the song and story: "Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Hope you like it." - Pete from Dallas

  • More info regarding the info: This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through, as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers. The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht to end the war in April 1945. Waldenburg was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? iowaculture.gov/history/education/educator-resources/primary-source-sets/world-war-ii/american-troops-move-through The imagery of the denouement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of his wife giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and life are both sacraments and are interwoven. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffet the pilgrims. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another.

  • Hi Tylr! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. I’M CHOSING LIFE!!🙏🙏 See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖

  • Thank you, great reaction! Indeed, the symbol is important, it’s a gnomon, part of a sundial and of a mariner’s compass, thus it’s what allows people at sea to find their direction in life. When the tall boy decides to use it as a symbol or logo for his army, he removes the hole from the design, thus this doesn’t allow one to find one’s way anymore. In other words, the Dictator has lost his direction. The “Piper” refers to the the Pied Piper of Hamelin (German fairy tale), where a piper originally helps a town get rid of its rats by playing his magic pipe and causing the rats to become entranced by it thus following him to the river and drowning. However, when the town refuses to pay him on the grounds that “he did nothing but play his pipe”, the Piper this type hypnotizes the town’s children who follow him into the mountains, never to be seen again. Notice how the lyrics tell us that the moment of “Imagine” has passed, an allusion to the John Lennon song, and a call to action. The final statement is a quote from the Document on Human Fraternity signed by Pope Francis and Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb in 2019. The people walking in the desert symbolize the seekers of truth and peace throughout the history of mankind. Those are mostly religious figures: Christians (cross, bell tolling); Muslims (Qur’an, ihram); Jews (shofar, tallit); Buddhists/Hindus (red robes, Om sound); from various ethnic backgrounds. As the Dimash character loses his life as retribution for taking a life, he realizes that violence solved nothing, and goes on to join the seekers of truth in the afterlife. There’s much to unpack, indeed. I would bet anything that this is Dimash’s PhD thesis, that one can use music to spread a message to the world. In an interview a few years ago, Dimash did express the wish to one day compose a grander musical piece such as sonata, etude, etc. Well, this is it: a vocal concerto where vocal range, types and colors of voice, genres were used as the palette. Bravo, Dimash!👏👏👍👍💕💕🌷🌷🎊🎈

  • These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. Dimash takes his revenge on his former friend. The new baby represented a new innocent life beginning as his father dies. (And he does die) also the mother died in childbirth. The baby grew up to be a leader of men who seek peace. He wore his parents necklace, to always remember. The This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

  • The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an Award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. There now is a wonderful booklet on dimashnews. com Also see the live fancam from his Almaty concert on September 23, 2022. 35.000 people from 68 different countries. • @@suedouglas5455 I think you got it backwards. Dimash is the young boy drowning. If in doubt it becomes clear during and after the underwater "We're choosing life scene" where the transitioning between the past and now connects the characters. The dictator is connected to the tall boy on the beach, the woman giving birth is connected to the girl and grown Dimash drowning is connected to the smallest boy that drowned on the beach. You can see the same effect being used in the beginning when we leave the beach, it's filming the tall boy on the beach holding the necklace in his hand then transitioning to the Dictator/Antagonist with the necklace on the desk in front of him telling us these two are the same person. Also they've done a great job casting the young actors, the boy drowning looks like a young Dimash and the tall boy really looks like a young Nikita. • Any good work always allows the viewer to become a co-author, allows us to create interpretations ourselves, but within the limits of the main author's message. A complex work often requires repeated careful viewing. Dimash's first message: we are born equal, pure, potentially good people. Children are an unwritten book in which life can fit any plot. We see three friends who, as children, are full of nobility and courage (an older boy selflessly saves his friend), a thirst for knowledge of the world and a thirst to share these discoveries. However, already at these stages, the first signs of disagreement appear: a brave boy, pumping out a friend, looks for approval from a girl with his eyes. He wants to look like a hero in her eyes. But the girl does not notice this, her heart has already been given to another, and only his fate cares about her. That's the first disappointment of life - a feat will not make you a hero. You can't expect a fair reward from people. A friend may not meet your expectations. What other disappointments will this boy know, who eventually transforms from a selfless young man into a ruthless and cynical dictator? The amulet (the arrow of the solar clock showing both time and direction) has become a symbol of different ideas in the hands of our heroes. For a couple in love, it is a symbol of unity, indicating their common path (they have become a married couple, they have a daughter and a son will be born in the final). Another boy never accepted this amulet as a symbol of friendship (he does not wear it on his chest near his heart), he bent it in a fit of rage (thus the arrow stopped pointing the right way) and used this amulet upside down as a symbol of his false inverted ideals. He became a dictator (in the lyrics of the song - a Pied Piper, who draws children to destruction with the sounds of his lying flute). Many years later we see that the Dictator unleashed a bloodbath in the name of his false ideals. Many believe that Dimash portrays the opposing side of Good to Evil. I see something else. A patch on the sleeve of Dimash's character is poked into our eyes several times: a complex interweaving of sharp corners and circles. Dimash's character is not a leader, he is an ordinary soldier who has also taken some ideological side. What do these circles and angles represent? Who stands behind Dimash's character and pushes him into battle? Maybe he's protecting his city from invasion? Apparently not! Everything points to the fact that this is a civil war, because the action takes place in their hometown. All three of them lived in this city, and now they are feuding and destroying their home. Waldenberg in this clip is the personification of the whole planet. We all live under the same sky. And in this sense, ANY WAR is a civil war, fueled by various but ALWAYS false ideas, including territorial claims. I think this is the second message of Dimash, directly following from the title of the clip. Therefore, behind the back of Dimash's character is another exactly the same Pied Piper, with complex, confusing and false ideas pushing his followers into this meat grinder. The plaque with the name of the city in Gothic script Waldenberg is a direct reference to the real German city of Waldenburg, completely destroyed by Allied troops during World War II, when there was no need at all, because by the end of the war there were mostly only women and children in this city. The one who was supposed to bring good brought evil. Dimash's third message is that war has no good sides. All participants in wars are somehow agents of evil. Is it an accident that Waldenburg translates as "The City of Waldemar"? Well, or Vladimir in the Slavic version. Both leaders of the modern confrontation are called Vladimir ... Dimash certainly sympathizes with his character, he understands what exactly drives his hero, but does not justify his actions. When his character, driven by anger, despair and revenge, comes to the Dictator for retribution, then a storm begins in a world where souls of different faiths, cultures, ethnicities, epochs who have chosen the road to light (good) have been walking along a thorny road for thousands of years of human history! Dimash's character, having killed his savior, thanks to whom he lived all these years, immediately receives karma in return and returns to the waters of nothingness, where he should have stayed many years ago. At the moment of death, the thirst for life gives him the last most powerful life lesson: acceptance of the idea of the primordial value of human life. FOR EVERYONE WITHOUT EXCEPTION! Even for a Dictator! Even for his daughter's murderers! This is the fourth very important message of Dimash. In a near-death epiphany, his hero sees in flashbacks the moments of his life, both bright (shots from his childhood) and unrighteous (shots of how he takes the lives of his opponents). Dimash's fifth message is to rethink your values, it's never too late to repent. It is this repentance that allows the soul of Dimash's character to transform and be reborn in the best version of himself. The waters into which our hero fell are also an allegory for amniotic fluid, an allegory of reincarnation in the body of his newborn son, who, having received such a powerful life attitude from his father, will never take up arms again and will not join any side of the conflict. The soul of a warrior sinks to the bottom of Nothingness completely. All three characters die in this story at the same time, allowing a new soul to be born, giving hope for a better future for Humanity. Dimash is a Muslim, and he does not preach the idea of reincarnation. Reincarnation here is just a metaphor necessary to convey his messages. The souls of the righteous, who once accepted the simple truth about the primary value of human life, raising their hands to the dazzling Light that flooded the horizon, meet their new follower, who joined their march towards Light and Goodness. He is an equal among them, who has accepted his mission as a shepherd, among others, each of whom carries his mission on this path: someone blows a horn, calling for unification, someone brings enlightenment to the masses (a book is a symbol of knowledge), someone carries his cross, and someone leaves the race unable to withstand the hardships of the way. The fifth message of Dimash - the simple acceptance of the idea of renouncing weapons and violence will allow each of us to join this stream of righteous souls. Only when WE ALL join this stream, only then will the wars stop. Dimash wrote the music and script for this video based on his own long-standing story. • The necklace is a gnomon, which is the main part of a sundial. The taller boy grows to be the commander. The drowning boy grows to be the soldier. The girl grows to be the mother of the little girl that is killed. She is the soldiers daughter and the girl is his pregnant wife. The symbol in the hand of the taller boy becomes bent = he lost his way and grew to believe twisted ideas of peace and war. The soldier is disillusioned and seeks his family only to find the horror and destruction of war, including the death of his daughter. He then kills his old friend the commander and then he is killed in turn. At the moment of the soldiers death, his wife gives birth to their baby boy. She dies in childbirth. Her necklace is placed on the baby. The people struggling towards the light are from ALL religions. The baby becomes the robed figure that is leading the religious leaders to peace, life, and love. This is also the soldier reincarnated and it is also DImash leading us to peace with this masterful composition and mini movie and his incredible vocals and lyrics. This is astonishing and touches all who experience it. It is a masterpiece. Thank you for your thoughts and reaction.

  • Many of the visuals in the short film are symbolic, interspersed with the harsh reality of war. You asked for our take on it, here is mine. Dimash is showing us two sides of Life, first our warring world and then the spiritual one. We live in both worlds and travel between the two, birth and death are only doorways between both worlds. The spiritual world is portrayed by using symbols of different religions (a Christ-like figure, Buddhists with their bells, a man holding a Kazakh Bible, a Jewish man blowing a shofar), all of them trekking towards a specific destination. We find out at the end that they were trekking towards Dimash's point of arrival after he was shot and passed through the doorway from this earthly life. Not much is made of the Christ-like figure by most reactors but I believe he is an important figure in the script as he appears many times throughout the film and it certainly wasn't by mistake. As Dimash is passing into the spiritual world, this Christ-like figure is also "dying" and entering a doorway into this earthly world. I've noticed that the plot is often told by using image sequences throughout the movie. For example, jumping from the boy on the beach with the necklace in his hand to the same necklace on the lectern in front of the war general. One of those visual sequences is of a "dead" Christ to the baby being born. Make what you want of it

  • The Piper is a reference to the Pied Piper of Hamelin, a poem by Robert Browning (1842), based on an old German legend. The Piper was hired by the townspeople of Hamelin to lure the rats out of Hamelin using his magic pipe. As he promised the rats followed the Piper out of town but when the townspeople refused to pay the Piper, he returned to Hamelin and used his music to lead the children out of town and they were never seen again.

  • Part 1: That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace). One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work. The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.

  • This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb) So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer. Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷

The village refused to pay so the Piper used his magic pipes to lead all the children of the village away never to be seen again. The tale is used to refer to any glib leader with a great sounding voice who leads people to disaster.

  • This video has so many layers. How I see it, is at the beginning he is the one that saves the other boy's life or he's saved I'm not sure which. But he made the 3 necklaces for him his friend and the girl, so one of the boy's is the evil leader, one is Dimash and the woman giving birth is the girl on the beach. But his vocalising is all about the anguish of war and at one point his voice sounds like gunfire. The war isn't anywhere specific it's all just war in general and all the peaceful religions trying to bring people together peacefully. Is that about it! War kills too many innocents - including children, but of course we never see it.

  • Piper is a reference to the "Pied Piper" of Hamlin. 3 necklaces ... Dimash... the little girl who Dimash later marries..... and the other boy who grows up to become a military dictator. The last figure is Dimash as his now "grown" son...wearing his mothers necklace. Dimash spent 3 years completing this project. Dimash has a Master's Degree in Composition, and has composed many songs. You will find that Dimash whole heartedly promotes Peace and Love. Watch his performance of "War and Peace" also composed by him. Dimash recently met and received a medal from the Pope. Dimash is Muslim, so that says a lot about his efforts globally to raise awareness to the plight of people (and especially the children) in war torn countries.

  • took him 3 years so compose and he also wrote the script to the video. I so hope I can see it live sometime. If you dident gett some what happend...here are some of how I see it..Dimash was the little boy that was saved and the girl become Dimash wife and there dother that was killed of soldiers from the man that was the boy that saved Dimash. That man was angry and desperat becouse he loved the girl/woman to and she shoose Diamssh! So he started the war in Dimash town do to that. The women giving birth with Dimash and her son died during the birth. There son grow up in the end to unite every human and every religion to a peacefull and loving life. In April 1945 at the end of World War II the town had been occupied for a last-ditch stand by the Wehrmacht against the advancing United States 3rd army, and was almost completely destroyed by American artillery. Postwar efforts have reconstructed some historic buildings. Dimash also sang John Lennons "Imadgine" that the time is over for dream about peace we have to act. Think abouth wath we al can do to gett that result in the end. He dosent care of what religon you have back to the text in the end...everyone should acept outhers regrdles of skinn couler, religon or anything els that we today divides people!! Think on how we are actting to outhers, think before you say hurtfull words and try to understand them as a human insteed. Becouse we live on 1 earth and under 1 sky!!!! We are al the same as humans need love and understanding and also lett everyone have there religion. This is Dimash masterpeace and every human should see/hear this!! This is so needed today. He is brave to do this kind of MV/movie and he always stand for what he sayes and it is alwayes peace and love!!

  • TYLER -THE STORY, PIPER AND DIMASH IN COLLEGE The three adults are the children in the opening. Dimash is married to the little girl, now an adult, they still wear the symbols of their youth and love around their necks on the cords he made. The tall guy was the tall kid, he went despot tyrant, his symbol is now of his army. He represents the senseless warring tyrants now and throughout history. Dimash and his family represent the innocent men, women and children caught up in the endless cycles of senseless war and brutality. The little girl is Dimash's and the the girl from his childhood grownup. is the wife, who is giving birth to their second child (representing the eternal cycle of birth, life and death) not knowing her daughter and husband Dimash have been killed. "Pipers calling"in the song lyrics is a literary reference to the children's tale "The Pied Piper of Hamlin" calling, and people, like the children of Hamlin in the story, following the Pied Piper playing his flute (called a pipe in the middle ages) blindly. This reference is often used to describe people who follow leaders senselessly. "Following Xi Jinping (China) like he's the pied piper, for instance. The people wandering in the desert are biblical and also the people throughout the ages killed senselessly, so many for religious reasons. The robed man in the desert blowing the big Shofar into the air, it's made from a ram's horn, is a Jewish, rabbi and blowing it is the ancient biblical call for repentance and is still blown in Synagogues at Yom Kippur. Muslims sit in circles palms up to pray in some cultures as portrayed here. Dimash wearing the biblical caftan and staff at the end is joining the "March of Souls to the Aterlife" the recurrent theme in religions around the world from ancient Sumer, through Egypt, Greece and to the present as portrayed throughout the film as people marching, some martyrs carrying the symbols of religions. they died for. Dimash's interest in global cultures and their indigenous music, instruments and their impact within their cultures, traditions and institutions in situ and globally, socialigically and politically was the basis of his thesis in graduate school and resonates throughout his artistry in composition, instruments, choice of material and his commitment to teaching, youth and solutions to societal problems.

  • The guy with the uniform with the pendant symbol on it is the boy who saved Dimash when he was drowning as a young boy. The woman giving birth is Dimash’s wife, the young childhood girl who chose Dimash over the other boy. There is no good or bad guy. Only differences in ideology. The little girl who got killed is dimash’s daughter. The baby born wearing the pendant is Dimash’s son and Dimash at the very end wearing the pendant is Dimash’s son all grown up leading people of all cultures and beliefs who came together as one under one sky walking toward the light .

  • My take on the story: It’s the story of three childhood friends who are all joined by the symbol of the necklace. Dimash as a child (the tallest boy, Dimash is tall!), saves the boy, who eventually became the Dictator. Dimash married the girl from his childhood, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills his childhood friend, (the dictator) who he saved from drowning when they were children. The Dictator’s soldier’s kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to their son, his father’s necklace is passed down to him. It’s Dimash’s son at the end leading all people and all religions to peace (Throughout the video when Dimash is singing in a Middle Eastern style, that’s flash forward to the future, where the people of all religions are being led in peace, by Dimash’s son.)

  • Part 2: The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen Script - Dimash Qudaibergen Music - Dimash Qudaibergen Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...) Directed by - Alina Veripia DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad) Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value. No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world. We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven. (description box, Dimash news, astanatimes) My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change? *** Pope Francis awarded a commemorative medal to Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen during the Pope's visit to the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions September 14-15, 2022 in Nur-Sultan/Kazakhstan.
