What Dimash is trying to show us is that those who kill each other could have been friends, regardless of race, culture or religion and that our leaders send the people to kill each other promising them a better life.... We don't go to war to win peace and there are never any winners, only losers. We must prepare the next generation to adopt a mentality of tolerance towards all human beings. Nicely said. And it's a reminder to us that when our leaders are leading in wrong directions, it's our job to stop following them and head in right directions. You can kill a leader and either they become a martyr or someone else rises to take their place, but if everyone together stops following them, their power is gone (or at least much diminished). A head without a body can't do much.

You got it though I think the girl became Dimash's characters wife & we saw her with the little girl earlier in the video when she looked at the necklace so I think the little girl was their child & the baby being born too. What I think is that Dimash's character had to be saved to stop his friend who later in life became a Dictator. So powerful, so emotional and so thought-provoking. We are still living in a world where this is happening all around the world and it needs to stop. That scene needed to be shown as we tend not to think about the real horrors of war & we are allowing it to continue by our silence. Thank you for your reaction & I agree that Dimash should win awards for this. As he has refused to be signed to any record label we will have to see whether there will be a backlash from that. I don't think any label would have gone along with this, especially so early on in his career, as they would be afraid of losing money if it wasn't accepted well. Dimash is so passionate in his anti war stance & I think we all should be. Enough is enough! War needs to stop being a money making machine & put people first. 😒 😪

Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. Qazakstan only achieved independence 30 years ago, Dimash is only 28. He knows the history of his homeland and of current and past heroes of the conflict. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations. He has stated that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there has been four in just this year alone. Dimash wrote this as a screenplay and composed the music which in itself is just brilliant. The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. The Story of One Sky is an absolute masterpiece and deserves unrivalled recognition from all corners of the earth. This makes you sad, cry and smile but leaves you questioning the direction we as a humans are travelling. Dimash promised something epic and that was a colossal understatement. He delivered as always. ❤💕
The film is based on a story written by Dimash, with his own screenplay. (He worked on this piece for the last 3 years). The director Alina Veripya told about the creation of the music video for the new song : The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. *This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. Er hat eine "commemorative medal" bekommen vom Papst. Dass es eine Auszeichnung für dieses Werk war, konnte ich nirgends finden. Ich nehme eher an, dass jeder der bei dem Kongress der Weltreligionen irgendwie beigetragen hat, eine bekommen hat. Als Erinnerung, aber nicht als Auszeichnung. (Nicht, dass er es nicht verdient hätte!)

This video brings one to the brink of despair yet shows that life endures and hope lives on from generation to generation! Profound performance by Dimash and all those who participated in the artistry of this production! The first lyrics are so telling "Can't believe what is happening at all PIPER'S crazy, we are bound to fall" seems to me to relate to a Pied Piper leading others astray! Showing his immense grief going to his home and finding his household, his daughter all dead. As he dies his son is born. You see the baby wearing the mother's sign of love and life and then he is shown grown into the very image of his father wearing the same necklace walking toward a dawning new light! My soul cried! Dimash is amazingly gifted and has an understanding of love and life beyond his years!

The bad guy was the tall kid on the beach, the woman was the girl and his wife, the little girl was his daughter. The baby is his son. The baby grows up to lead the people, or you could think that it’s Dimash reincarnated that part is a puzzle.
Yes the woman gives birth to Dimash sun and Dimash at the end is his own sun as a grown man. Yes it is a Movie. Very special. With a big deep message. This was a 3 year project and very importan to Dimash.

This is the same story that has been repeated for thousands and thousands of years here on earth as in heaven. Greetings from Chile.
The story is about 3 friends of which 2 boys are in love with the girl. The little boy who offers the symbols of friendship he has made will marry the girl (Dimash). They will have a baby girl (the one who was killed) and the mother is expecting another child. The third friend has become his enemy, and when Dimash dies, his son is born, and the mother dies in childbirth. But the boy is saved by his community made up of various religions and ethnicities, he wears his mother's talisman. He will grow up and will surely become a messenger of peace, like the worthy son of his father. At the end, he joins the other religious from another era, I imagine they are souls. It does not mention any war in particular because Dimash has been working on this project for 3 years, it is war in general that is mentioned here and its consequences. Hello from France :)

His heart and soul is pleading for peace at a time when nearby him is war and horror that is threatening all of humanity. Dimash famously speaks about how we, as adults, think we are smarter than children and that it is our job to teach them but no adults ever died because of the decisions of a couple of children; hundreds of thousands of children die because of the decisions of a few adults. "So who is smarter?" This here is what really makes Dimash the best in the world, because his desire to spread this message and get people to open their eyes is so important to him and he isn't afraid to use his talents to connect people to the issues. So many people feel shocked at the brutality of this film and seem to almost become incensed at what happens to the little girl. That's the literal point of the film! It's NOT comfortable to see! War isn't comfortable! It takes the lives of innocent people, including children, every time we wage it. This is meant to shock people and he does it with precision. Anyone watching this who doesn't feel completely unhinged during it either doesn't get it or has no heart.

Just a few details: In the perception of some close to Dimash (including the film's director), the final character is Dimash's son born during the war and saved by several people who see him as a symbol of unity between peoples. He had honored his dead father... The name "Piper" has two similar meanings: The first is a reference to the legend of the "Piper of Hamelin" who had the task of hypnotizing the city's rats and drowning them in the sea. But the flutist, unpaid, hypnotized the entire population of the city and took them to their death! It is, therefore, a seductive message that leads to death! The other meaning tells the true story of a World War II battle where insane Canadian soldier Bill Millin, called "Mad Pipper", played bagpipes at the front, dressed in a "kilt", while his comrades were killed. ! The sound of the harmonica served to muffle the shots and motivate the companions and became a symbol of the "madness of war"!

I think everyone interprets this in their own way. For me I feel the end he is showing all religions towards the light, like a mystic. This is obviously a reference to what's going on in the world right now. An oppressor killing innocent people and Dimash is always all about peace. He went out on a limb here.
