@@karlivanr Just got a G Pro X, the HyperX come with a better stock EQ for music, while the G PRO X comes better tuned for gaming in general. The Logitech has a slightly better positional sound too. If you tweak the G PRO X it can sound as good as the HyperX in music too.
@@brun0silva938 thanks bro! I actually got the G Pro X 2-3 months ago I think... I have not been able to do a follow up here (my apologies lol) but so far so good I'm enjoying the experience overall, with proper EQing... it can sound very good to my ears (I'm not an audiophile or anything but I can say at least that I have a good pair of hearing since I'm also producing tracks sometimes) the mic is awesome as well, I've been enjoying the customizability in the software and I downloaded some presets as well
I have owned both the hyper x and the beyerdynamic dt 990-pro. While the beyerdynamic headphones sounded a bit better, the quality difference was negligible enough for me to sell them and stick with the hyper x's simply for fit, durability, and overall preference towards closed can headphones. I am more than happy with my hyper x's and they have lasted me far longer than any other piece of equipment that I've bought.
I just ordered G Pro X, hoping to test it this week. Edit: Worth it.
Are they holding up good after a week. Any cons that could be useful to know?
@@agocid3096 I haven't experienced any cons yet, both the material and sound quality is brilliant. Only downside might be you won't be able to use Blue Voice on the microphone if you're planning to use it with a device other than a PC because it requires the G Hub software to function. That is not a concern for me but it's something to keep in mind.
Does Blue voice work on laptops?

I think the detachable cable on the logitechs would be the tipping point for me. I have had a set of original clouds and the cable loosened over time where it joins the headset. I had to throw them away in the end just because the cable eventually broke internally and rendered the headset dead. I have a detachable cable on my astro a40s that did the same and I was able to buy a replacement cable for $10 without having to buy a whole new headset.
Hi, friend! What about the Hyperx Cloud Alpha S Blackout? Is it better than those of the video? Thanks and great work there

I have the ATH AD700x amazing headphones for gaming, but I have so much background noise between my AC unit and my aquarium addiction I cant hear the little noises I need to because of the open back. As strictly a console gamer jumping between Playstation to Xbox are Logitech worth the extra money? Since on console you don't have the option to play around with the software. Or is Cloud 2 much the same quality on console? Thanks for any answers!
Is the bass good when listening to music with the Logitech g pro x?
do you think i could achieve masking or getting rid of AC noise with Blue Voice? i've heard from the people i play with that it can get pretty annoying so i have been considering the g pro x but to me its in a price range where i need to be sure before committing >< thank you and great video.
I don't think the EQ is quite surgical enough for that. There are some other software EQs that can be gotten for cheap or free that would do a better job. But it is one more step.

I'm looking at the G Pros and the Phillips SHP9500 for gaming and also editing my videos. I plan to buy a Yeti Nano for my commentary when I live stream since the headphone/mic combo is far better quality than a headset.. Is it worth me spending that extra $30 for the X's if I'm already getting a separate mic for commentary or should I save that $30 towards the Yeti Nano? Also, what do you think about the SHP9500 compared to the G Pros. Appreciate your time and help :)

I use the Logitech Pro X Wireless headset and a Blue Spark mic into a Behringer interface. I get the benefit of the sidetone and "gamer" tuned headset but I don't hurt my friend's ears.
Revolver s vs cloud 2 Which one has best audio..?
Would the g pro x be a good option for a kinda all round use? I have Xbox, PC and plenty of portable devices to plug in the audio jack into. I like the design and look of it so I wouldn't feel weird wearing it outside without the mic but would it. Does it seem worth it? Also is it pretty good for music?
All around they'd be pretty good. I'm a little picky with my headphones for music and I find these have a habit of getting a bit muddy when you throw a lot at them in a song. But if music is secondary and you'll mostly be using them for gaming, they'll be great.

Hope it worth it, also sidetone is nice since wont hear outside noise. If the sound is better than hyper and the durability is good i probably buy it.
Do you think it's worth paying the extra to get the blue voice? Or just get normal g pros
For me, yes. Some people don't like the software but I think it really does make my voice sound better. The main thing for me is the side tone. If the regular G Pros give you a side tone, I would say get them. I'm just not sure if they offer that.
Just bought the Pro X headset. Does anyone else's mic make a loud "BLIP" noise when you activate the mute switch? It's really annoying to the other person I'm having a conversation with online

Unfortunately I haven't had any experience with any Razer headsets yet. The idea of wireless does sound nice, though.
Alright so to my understanding, they're both *really* good? I'll go for the G Pro X then, to complete my Logitech setup. They're also sold for only 89€ and the Cloud 2's are sold for 99. No big difference, but still.
Just bought the pro x will I be able to use the blue voice and settings I have saved on them, if I use for example, messenger voice call on my pc?
Also another question. If I were streaming from my elgato to my switch would I be able to use the header features if plugged into my PC?

@@DetroitTech okay that's awesome. I'm looking to start streaming so a good quality mic is a must, would you recommend these over the sennheiser gsp 300's? I have some background noise normally so that's why I'm asking.
@@DetroitTech I'm having the same debate on which headset I should get. Should I get get the Sennheiser GSP 300's or the Logitech G Pro X? It would really help me out :)
@@santrax1066 I don't have any experience with the GSP 300, unfortunately.
to be brutally honest, i just got the Logitech headset and i'm considering taking it back.. after messing with the logi Ghub for about three days now i can't seem to find a setting that eliminates background noises or the sound of my keyboard.. the mic picks up anything and everything.. and i was under the impression i was getting a headset with a good mic. Lol to that
So, I've used razer kraken 7.1 pro for the past 3 years, and decided to go to the cloud 2, especially for gaming purposes. To be honest, I was really disappointed. In terms of mic quality, it's actually really good, even better than the razer kraken 7.1, but the sound... oh, boy. If you decide to plug the USB dongle, it's just HORRIBLE ingame. As a casual fortnite player, the sounds of footstep and directions was so awful to hear. Then, I decided to use straight to my motherboard, which it's now a lot better. The problem is the length of the cable without the USB dongle... too short. Also, as Detroit Tech mentioned in the video, there is no software for the cloud 2, simply plug and play. Indeed it's easy, but I really miss a software to set everything up as I wish, especially for gaming. Anyway, I'm really considering selling this cloud 2 and getting myself a Logitech G Pro X.
I have the g pro x and you can hear footsteps clearly even with usb
