Very simple Z-shaped bottom fuller and a hand-held fuller that will be used to create tenons.
1.14.1 Forge a hand-held fuller (3/8-inch) and a ‘Z’ shaped bottom fuller from 3/8- inch
round bar (to rest on the anvil).
1.14.2 Tools are needed to isolate the material to create tenons

I guess if you are smithing on a railroad track or something and don't have a hardie / pritchel hole this would be a good option also. Always good to have more options in the tool belt right.
Stupid question if you don't mind. Why the z shape? It seems it will walk out twist on the anvil during use. Why not a different shape that can't move or one that fits the hardy or pritchel hole? I'm sure it can be made in any shape one wants so long as it does it's job, just wondering though.
The reason I made it is that it's one of the required items in the 1.0 curriculum. As I said in the video I think a spring fuller is an easier to use tool and not much harder to make. As for why a Z shape if you are making this tool I think there are a couple reasons. 1) It is reasonably stable on an anvil if you aren't making a hardie tool. 2) It holds the material you are going to be fullering level by providing support on the diagonal and then bottom of the Z. If you have something that doesn't cross the anvil a few times the material you are trying to fuller will be angled as it rests on top of the bottom fuller and the anvil. 3) This will work even if you don't have a hardie or pritchel hole.
