You are right… drinking is very rarely worth the crushing hangovers after your hit 30. At least two day hangovers, absolutely depressing in wishing the day away.
Ohhh boy. I'm doing a dry 2022 -- Kev's bit hits home hard. I used to be a very heavy drinker. Not gonna miss those hangovers. Couldn't even call them hangovers anymore, more like 3 days of intensely concentrating on breathing normally and completely fucked, sleepless and twitchy nights.
Hang in there mate, I understand the head f**K! I've been clean for 6 months - the most boring 6 months of my life, but if I can get to half a year then I reckon you can too mate. 👍👍 Goodluck.

I’m 26 and an ex-cocaine addict and alcoholic for 9 years, im clean for 1,5 year after 5 years going to clinics, still everyday is a battle to stay clean. The advantages it gave me physical is incredible doing cycling, kickboxing and football, mentally it’s still difficult also due the covid restrictions here in Holland. Just stay strong everybody can do it! 💪🏻💪🏻

What happens at 50? I'm 38 and my hangovers are hellish.
I'm about 30 or 31, and my hangovers last like 12 hours per litre of vodka, or about 15 half-litres of beer. But for those 12 hours I'm fucking useless... For the first hour after I wake up I can barely watch TV and keep my eyes open at the same time, then after 12 hours I'm out driving and listening to Motorhead and go back home and maybe drink more... It should be said that I have taken some quite hard amounts of painkillers in my days (for pain mostly), so I guess my liver is slightly fucked up and also my threshold of pain is pretty high.

Why has he changed how he talks can’t watch him anymore
He has adapted his accent so that he can perform internationally. Lots of countries find it difficult understanding the Scottish accent, especially Glaswegian which like northern Ireland is very strong. It doesn't take away from his performance or humour. I suggest if it offends you that he adapts his accent to his fans of many countries so that they may share his hilarious out take on everyday life, maybe you should look elsewhere for your entertainment.

Well how come you have people from all over the world who have emigrated still retain their accents for years in their chosen countries. Its a part of their culture, they may adapt it to suit their environment or community, but it is always a part of them.
