I don't get the sensitivity to the Steve-O joke. She didn't in any way make fun of his friend, Ryan Dunn, or his death. She made fun of people wishing it had been Steve-O instead. The Patrice O'Neal portion was the absolute best. He was known for being totally brutal to other comics, but was given some pretty deep cuts he didn't see coming.

Castiel Guerra Not really. I would say that for every 1 that is brutal, there is 1 that is okay to decent, and 2 that are crazy awful. I have seen many roasts, and only 4 girls are brutal on stage: Natasha Leggero, Amy Schumer, Katey Sagal and Lisa Lampanelli (when she isn't constantly talking about herself) are all really good and crazy brutal. For the guys, it's even lower because more guys participate in roasts and yet very few are good at it. Just like in this roast, there were probably 2 guys that were brutal (Jeff Ross and Anthony Jeselnik) but the other 5 weren't that great.

I don't think sexism has anything to do with it; if a male comedian had made the same joke, the backlash would have been the same. My problem is with people thinking they have the right to be moral compass of the world. For one thing, the joke involved Ryan Dunn but it was at Steve-O's expense so she wasn't making fun of the deceased. Even if she was, I don't really feel the topic should be off-limits, especially at a roast. The guy had a BAC of almost 0.2 so it should be considered lucky that he didn't cause more damage to innocent people. If Steve-O wasn't ready to hear jokes at his expense, then he shouldn't have been there.
