@@bradh74 nope! It is deerz!
@@bradh74 Would, Jack & Jill have been on some type of hill perhaps? 😂
Uh...it Dick and Jane...and Jack and Jill...but God forbid we offend someones delicate senses so possibly it was Jill and Jane or Dick and Jack...I guess...lol
DEERS is an accepted plural, but it is rarely used...DEER being the most common used such as SHEEP...FISH on the other hand is used to describe one type of fish and the word FISHS used to describe several different types of fish...So I guess the same could be said for many different species of DEERS... ....My brain hurts now...

Adam Today was the day! I went to Silencer Central in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I choose the Banish 46 . I won a Gift Certificate while at a Pheasant Forever Banquet in my hometown. Now the wait begins. Great Shooting.
Awesome!!!
Thank you again WTW for another informative and really fun video. 👍
If you're looking for a great subsonic 7.62x39 deer load, use the Maker 190 gr. I run 14 gr of H4895 under them. Subsonic, cycles most aks and is very accurate with excellent expansion. The factory brown bear subs run the Russian equivalent of IMR 4227. It might not be exactly the same but both are fine stick powders and in my testing, produced identical velocities. Unfortunately they tend to be slightly supersonic from full length rifle barrels and they don't usually cycle aks. H4895 produces just a bit more gas and has better case fill for better consistency.
Awesome!! Excited for all the content incoming !!
7.62x39 is an impressive little cartridge i had a mini 30 many years ago...excellent deer rifle !!!
😂 his face when that bird flew off Thanks for the video
My Ruger American in 7.62x39 is one of my favorite rifles and they are incredibly accurate even with steel case Ammo! Your review is why I originally bought one and I have zero regrets! Might have to get a banish 30 gold now! Need some way for you to get affiliate links on places to buy those things!
👍😊 should have shot the dirts on paper to see if there’s a impact shift from can to no can cause it was a lot closer to the + unless you been playing with knobs 😊.
This is great content. Glad I found your channel!
Thanks for watching Justin!
That’s a good caliber to reload also, even more to make your own subsonics with a hand mold bullet. You can shoot a lot more for the same money. Key is good price on the powder.
I do that. Really takes forever tho and prefer the berrys plated bullets for plinking. Ill cast some soft cast or hard hast for hunting tho
A little Lucas gun oil will smooth that action , found the Lucas at O'Reilly. The round I use for deer is the Doubleday 123gr.DT lead free SC-HP 2400fps. 16" BBL. Holds 1/2 in. group at 100 yes. In the water jug test I had a perfect mushroom, exploded the first 4 jugs split the fifth found the freedom seed in the sixth.
Awesome video man and Awesome setup!
I love it!
I had a mini 30 Ruger chamberd in 7.62x39 about 35 years ago and i loved it...easily took deer was very accurate super useful cartridge also does not punch your shoulder !!
🦌🦌🦌
I took a buck last year with my mini thirty with Tula 154 grain soft points. 7.62x39 is more than adequate for deer hunting, and it’s cheap.
Yeah , had one. Just wasn't satisfied with avg. 4 inch 100 yd. groups with sp bullets. My sks would shoot about 2.5 in. with same bullet.
Suppressors on a gun is like a turbo on a car. Makes it perfect :)
So many questions now about that can as to applications. Do you change end caps etc... I know I'm probably jumping the gun lol Great video, and great groups! WHOTEEWHO!
Shot mine today first rounds 1 inch on reloads soft points. Loved it.
I don't have a suppressor but I ordered some Wolf 7.62x39 154gr SP ammo a while back, I shot them in my rifle and was supprized how much the groups tightened up just from different bullets. Can't wait to try them on deer this year.
Great groups! Looking forward to seeing you hunt with that one…
🦌🦌🦌
I have the similar rig running a YHM can with same results.. loving the Ranch in 7.62x39..
Looks awesome. I tried to find a ruger American in 7.62x39 but was unable to. Sweet setup!
My grouping changed a lot on my 65cm after adding a shusher. However, it is still just as predictable and I don’t shoot without it anyway. Multi-cal suppressors are awesome. I’ve spent a kings ransom in asr devices to shoot everything I can…with a can.
You remind me that I want a Ruger American in x39!! Personally, I would not hunt with subsonics, especially with the accuracy of those "cheap" Wolf 123's. That can suppresses the 123's good enough.
You should start rolling your own x39's, my RA x39 groups .5-.75" at 100yds. The slugged bore measures .310 so I use .303 cal boolots. Lee dies, jagman brass, Fed primers.
Man I love your videos, I bought a tristar krx after watching your videos on it. And man it's awesome.
Great video!!
I've taken several deer with 7.62X39 before I could afford the collection I have now. still one of my favorite rounds.
🦌🦌🦌
My first three were taken with 7.62x39, great deer rifle!
Excellent video!! Great info!
Thanks for watching!
I just put one on layaway yesterday. I've been waiting a year for one to be available and yesterday my LLC had one. I also recently got my Banish 30 gold! Can't wait to get it to the range!😊
Awesome!!!
Great call out on the deal!
Waiting on my first can rn. Cant wait to get it. I got a sandman s. Kinda wish i got something with a littel more sound suppression but my local ffl had it in stock so i hopped on it. Im sure it will be great anywas. Love the videos brother!
Appreciate you watching
This is awesome! That’s for another great one WTW!🤘🏽🤘🏽
Thanks for watching Michael!
I do love the Ruger American as they go all out on the barrel. The action/stock/ trigger are ok but sub 400 bux they are awesome
That wolf polycase steel ammo had a nice velocity spread as well. Seems like good ammo for steel especially. What do u hunt with when using 7.62 x 39? Soft points can be hard to find
The Brown Bear are the only subs you are going to find for 7.62x39. Personally I wouldn't hunt with subs especially in a bolt action.
PPU also make subsonic 7,62x39
Tight groups. Great deer setup.
🦌🦌🦌
I gotta get one of those cans. My Ruger American 762x39 is probably my favorite gun in my collection. Like yours, it amazes me every outing with what it does with cheap steel case food. Since I started watching your videos, my safes are full of Ruger Americans. Still looking for one in 6.5 grendel though 😕.
daggum brother that is a BEAUTIFUL rig
So it was late...I awoke not feeling well and I began watching one of your videos and I felt a rumble in my chest...and darkness fell over me...I woke in the emergency room, (thank God my wife heard me moaning and saw I was in trouble), seems that scrappnal I had received in dessert Storm had found it's way from my butt to my heart...lol...not kidding and I was now be prepped for emergency quadruple bypass surgery...well long story short I coded...bled out 1400 CC's of blood...spent 10 days in cardiac ICU...and the last 12 weeks recovering...through it all I had WhoDeeWho on you tube and I watched day and night...point is...you were my constant companion and I appreciate it like you'll never know...I'm doing great now and just wanted to say thank you and God bless.
Oh my glad you are doing okay
Thank you brother...and I am in fact doing great...planning my next Deer-apolusa in Sweetwater Oklahoma this Fall...got a new .308 Savage with new and improved trigger and optics to try out...can't wait!!...last year I took several over a period of 3 days including a 147lb Doe with a Remington .243 at 247 yds...I wanna beat that.
my favorite ruger american out of my four is the 7.62x39 ranch, just like you said an absolute tack driver with "crap" ammo
Awesome video Who Tee Who! Hope y’all are doing good! I’ve been out chasing those tricky mushrooms the last few weeks!
Arron Great Video. Thanks for Supporting a South Dakota Business. I have questions about the bullet diameter I thought Wolf 7.62 x 39 has a Bullet diameter of .310. Is the Suppressor diameter larger than .308? When I break down and get a Suppressor it's going to rated up to 35 caliber so I can use it on my 350 Legend or my 300 Black out.. Who Tee Who!
Cool video was looking forward to this one Sounded a lot like a air rifle on some of those shots Enjoyed the video as always
Thanks for watching Merlin
@@WHOTEEWHO your welcome
hell of a nice new toy
I love my Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39. I done a trigger job. Aftermarket bolt handle and a compatiton muzzle brake. It will shoot 1/2 groups at 100yrd all day long with cheap Wolf ammo it's crazy!!!.
blows my mind man, seems like i get better groups with it than with several other calibers i carefully hand load for
How does a bolt handle effect accuracy?
@@StacyHagerty really. The bolt handle doesn't affect accuracy but it allows you to cycle it much more comfortably without coming up off the rifle between shots.
Very cool setup, been really looking forward to seeing you finally get a suppressor, now you can shoot those subsonic 308s I sent you
Yes! Planning on it! Thanks again!
@@WHOTEEWHO you're very welcome
Nice editing on chambering another round. I have never noticed anyone else doing that before Man I’m so excited to get mt banish 30. I just got an ABC (American Built Custom) 7.5” AR Pistol to shot with it. Also a 7.62x39 10.5” AR PISTOLSHOULD BE A BLAST. SOME SUPE SICK HOME DEFENSE SBC MAKES WUAD Rail on the handguard which is awesome I was surphow nice they are for tbe price. The engrave a nice American flag on the MagWell and one on the rear of tve charging handle Can u talk im excited 😂
Thanks WTW that will be a really cool hunting rig. You'll certainly enjoy it for a long time. Let me know if you need some hunting rounds. I can't guarantee they'll pattern being Brown Bear, but they are soft points. They are not subs that i recall. I bought 1,000 rounds back in the mid-90's in anticipation of using my SKS to shoot pigs with.
🦌🦌🦌
I have the same riffle and been taking it deer/hog hunting for the past 3 years, also I am one year over in the wait for my Rugged Razor 762 stamp to be approved, ATF is moving so slow these days.
I’m just wondering about expansion when the go so slow, I’d go for a flat nose projectile. Good luck with the future hunts.
WHOTEEWHO, your video on the fingerprint kit inspired me to get started and i bought my Buck30 February 12th 2024. Thank you!
Awesome you will love it!
Great video , another hit .
Hi from france , excellent vidéo thanks ;) I have the same Ruger in .300 AAC BLK, very good rifle
Have you ever seen a 76.5 Argentine rifle? They have a screw twist in the barrel. Unbelievable spin.
Funny range story! Keep up the great work!!
You need to get a set of dies and load for it. Get the lee dies with a 308 and a 310/311 mandrel. Your gun may shoot good with 308 bullets..try and see. Lots more options if it does.
Awesome rifles I’ve got a ruger ranch in 300 blk that groups like yours. Great vids keep them coming. Hi from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Awesome!
Good job!
Cool video. I just got home from hand fishing caught a 55 and a 41 lb flathead
Thanks!
Hey Dork!! There was an invention centuries ago called Oil! Yeah OIL. I would recommend Lucas oil that has a needle nose nozzle that is perfect for getting into tight spots to lube not clean. I don't know the cleaning ability of it but I use it all the time and oddly enough it's in auto part stores. Mainly O'reilly's and when you run out of the lube in the bottle "I hope your not using it on your animals" It can be refilled with whatever you want and still have an awesome applicator. I'm not an affiliate with lucas and will only give advice on things that I have personally proven to work great. I still love rem oil. That is if I'm doing a tear down or want to weatherize a wooden stock gun before the gods vagulate on me while shooting.
Oh I can't wait for this.
I can't wait either!
Waiting on my can to be released out on early release. Have the bc hb 16 ready to accept the can as well as a 556 223 ar and a 308 bolt action and a ar 10 can't wait to take some Coyotes and hogs and deer this year . Keep them videos coming hootie whootiehoo
I just ordered the Banish 30 Gold about 2 weeks ago from Silencer Central for my 308 rifles. They are a great group to work with! Now, about the comment you made about the rough bolt action. I have shot that exact same model with crappy Wolf ammo with no problems except with one of the magazines. It made the action look like what you're experiencing. The other three mags I used provided excellent feeding and butter smooth action. The mag that comes with the gun can be crappy. Very poor quality control. But, man, that cheap rifle can shoot fantastic groups!
Comments from 9 months ago, did you get your can yet? Just ordered mine today!
Yes. I got it in Oct. works better than I ever expected
Boy that Ruger was shooting that wolf good and the can I like it especially where I comes with a tool to brake down and clean
First, I would like to say luv your reviews. Second, if you like the 7.62x 39 in ruger ,you would ❤️ the cz527 carbine, the same caliber. I have owned several and highly recommend.
I have videos on the cz as well 👍👍
You brought it to my attention. 30-06!
154grn sp 7.62x39 is what my Zastava m85 is sighted in with, not subsonic Adam but not quite 2200fps. I'd bet they run 2000fps
This is going to be an awesome video
i agree!
I love this rifle!!
Me too
Kinda surprised me how well they grouped out of a regular rifle! Definitely could use that for deer. How about a penetration test? BTW liked your Remington core-lokt hat!
Been a year now and still waiting on my Ruger 7.62x39. Can't wait to get my hands on mine❗
Great job!
Thanks for watching!
You can actually change the mag well to accept ar mags instead of mini 30 mags. Makes it less expensive on mags. I've done my 7.62x39 and 450 bushmaster that way .
Is there an Ar mag for 7.62x39?
@peterstanley1444 yes duramag makes great mags. I like the 10 and 20 round mags the best
Rock on WTW!!! Love the videos 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for watching upstate!
Impressive noise reduction with the can, whotee; very nice... 😁
Great groups with 7.62x39 supersonics! Are these Wolf 123 grainers boat tail boolats?
I have this exact same rifle and love it. This is my dream setup! It is on my to-do list to get a good all purpose can for this rifle. Can you disassemble this can for cleaning? Some of these cans seem to be sealed units that can't be disassembled. W/7.62 and 22lr cleaning is essential in my book.
Yes you can take it apart
that 🤫 can had that Ruger American sounding SWEET!!
That bird musta been a pterodactyl..it sounding like a bulldozer rolling on it's tracks in the video.
When you said 300 RUM, my shoulder started to hurt.
😆😆😆
did it change your point of impact suppressed vs unsupressed? how about if you sight it in supressed, then take the can off to use on something else, then put it back on? still the same point of aim/ point of impact?
Fun video that's a perfect white tail rig imo it's also easier on the young shooters ears I'll be here waiting for that video
🦌🦌🦌
Waiting on my Banish 30 gold now 😊 gonna put it on my 300 blk out 7.5” at pistol but I have two AKs and two full sized ARs I’m also gonna put it on. One supressor that fits allll of my favorite rifles. Super quiet I see.. with subsonic 300 black out it’s gonna be so badass
Awesome
@@WHOTEEWHO yeah I’m super excited. Just got the long dreaded wait time now depending on how fast silencer central and the atf cooperate with eachother
My favorite round.
Looking to buy a ranch gen2 to suppress. Shooting non sub sonic rounds is the sound difference between the 7.62 vs a 308 worth the energy difference. Or are they pretty close to the same sound level suppressed shooting normal hunting ammo?
How does it group with Military surplus ammo. That would be some cheap shooting. Would be really interested to see. Please do a video
Love that shusher setup. 👍😎🙏
Hey Peter!
You got a good can. Mine doesn’t come apart like yours. I shot 223-308.Took a 10 point with my 7.62 x 39 using my can . It was great. Thanks for the video.
Awesome!!!
Wow! I wasn't there but man that can seemed to work great!
🤫🤫🤫
@@WHOTEEWHO ha! Definitely 30-06 next!
Awesome
those subs are a little heavy for the twist on that Rugers barrel..... or i think they would have grouped a lot better.
Put it on all of em! Good shooting with a tack driver Rugar American. Definitely impressed with that rifles grouping. So much for cheap Russian ammo. That thing kills it!
Cans are good for deerhunt but you dont need subsonic rounds for that . I think the max range is 150 yards for deer size game and maybe better be little closer. Slower 33 cal or slower 35 cal can be moore versatile round for midsize game but hey ! 7.62 x 39 is still better in bolt guns for many . Ruger American is good but there is moore good options too .
Just something to note for anyone with this setup: The Brown Bear stuff runs supersonic 9 out of 10 rounds and that's not an exaggeration. You can hear it in this video. If you have a can and want to be quiet look for a different subsonic ammo than the Brown Bear.
Hard to find factory 7.62x39 subs
Any experience with the mini 30 and wolf ammo.. I'm thinking about buying one but heard they have issues with steel case.. if ssd's o why doesn't the american? .. or is it semi vs bolt.. thanks for a great video
Nope never tried a mini 30. Too expensive for me
How long did it take for you to get the stamp? Paper or eform?
Sweet. I love it !!! I always wanted a bolt rifel in 7,62. I would do a number on hogs and coyotes. God bless HH from west ky
🦌🦌🦌 thanks for watching Ernie
I'm thinking a Banish 46 would look real nice on my .450 BM Ranch Rifle. And a 350 grain cast bullet going subsonic still hits real hard.
Absolutely
Cool video. If you can, bring us along sighting in your hunting ammo for this rifle. Thanks.
Absolutely. Appreciate you watching
I use one on red deer 🦌 hinds. 3 from 3 so far. Hornady SST
