'The Moment Charles III Was Proclaimed King in Scotland'
Huge crowds gathered at Edinburgh's Mercat Cross on Sunday for the proclamation of King Charles III.
The Lord Lyon King of Arms read the proclamation of the new King to the people of Scotland, which was followed by the national anthem and three cheers for His Majesty.

    • It is for this reason that patronages cover a broad spectrum of causes, a symbol of national pride that was so needed then and has carried over to present day. While there is a distinction between patronages and the community workthe Duke and Duchess champion individually, there is sometimes overlap based on their interests. Today, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen their patronages to support charitable organisations that represent causes important to them and that honour the legacy of Her Majesty The Queen.

  • She will be so missed! England is so full of centuries of tradition that it is just a delight to read English history. Who would have thought to relive the crowning of a king in Europe? Long live the King 🤴

    @JustMe-mh2pn@JustMe-mh2pn Жыл бұрын
    • With all respect….most of the adults have seen a king being crowded in Europe and most of the younger and not so young people will see it, if they care. Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands have Kings that were crowned in 2013 and 2014. The kings of Sweden and Norway and the danish Queen are almost or over 80 years old.
