@RepairVsTheWRLD yes and no. Of course it is harder to achieve 240 hz than 60hz 4k. But on the other hand is it easier to achieve 120 on this than on a 4k. It's not necessary to have 240 hz all the time in my opinion. It's more an extra feature and is a nice to have on older games which are less demanding. 144 hz should be easy achievable with the next gpu generation later this year. Fun fact: Samsung says on the official website of the monitor that you should buy an unknown new gpu which releases later this year to achieve 240hz ;)

I'm absolutely blown away they were able to have all those amazing specs AND 240hz. 240hz monitors are usually missing something important.
Good luck finding a GPU that’s gonna give you 240fps at that resolution. It’s a useless spec.

Bruh he’s a PlayStation fanboy stop listening to him. 2 rtx 2080 ti’s( or probably even one will do)in nv link can easily output 240hz in newish games at 1440p if you lower specs down to high. Also I don’t see how it’s a useless spec since a mid level gpu can easily output 240hz at 1440p in older games like csgo

I have the September model got mine November 29th everything is flawless except the popping noise comes from the left and right side corner been reading that it will go away with use over time but not sure of it . I'm debating on keeping or sending back like everyone else but we'll see i don't know what i would get the asus 360hz is cool but only 1080p and not sure if i wanna go 4k 144hz . I'd stick with it if Samsung offered a extension of warranty for us early adapters like a 3 year warranty instead of a 1 year warranty would be nice like really nice and id be happy!

The only compromises i see are the expensive price and the kinda thick monitor/external power supply. If the pannel lottery is kind to you, i dont see any other compromises.

Whats the point? The ps5 will run bad games at 120fps and good games like GTA, Assassins creed, R6 at 70fps so the high hz wont matter.
Richard Brasliņš um the shape and size of the monitor matters too. If you want 144hz then there’s way cheaper and better options than Samsung but this sort of curvature is unique so
