Restoration of Japanese classic SANYO Radio | Old SANYO radio completely restored - I have completed a project to restore a Japanese-made SANYO radio. This sanyo radio is very old and rusty. I removed the rowid of all parts of this radio and repaired the broken equipment, replaced and restored the shiny detail. Please rate it with me. Thanks very much!

  • Меня терзают смутные сомнения, что этот аппарат вообще валялся где в грязи : снаружи вся в грязи и в ржавчине, как будто пролежал в болоте, а вот внутри-и-и все чистенько и аккуратненько, даже пылинки нет. Да-а-а, что то здесь не та-а-а-ак!!!

  • basicly you clean a radio, cos you dont repare the front panel or cd funtions, dont check the electronics part, even dont have clarity of cassettes work.... a nice cleanup but i dont see restoration

  • Paint job not too bad but some of it on the back has already scratched or flaked off, but it's better than what it was but i think if the correct paint was used for plastic then a lacquer coating would help protect the paint itself. Also when putting it back together try using a towel or an old item of clothing to put it on to help protect the fresh paint, but still a very good attempt and you sure know how to fully strip it down and remember where everything went back together.

    • Looks carburetor and choke cleaner. It’s a degreaser but can be harsh on sensitive electronics. People use break cleaner as well. These are cheap alternatives to electronics contact cleaner. It’s important only to use these chemicals outdoors or in a well ventilated area, and items cleaned should be allowed to sit for some time to allow all the chemicals to evaporate. Setting out in the sun works as well. I usually use plain water and isopropyl alcohol to clean electronics. Yes, even soapy water is fine as long as you remove all soap residue and allow cleaned items to dry in the sun for many hours. While some may claim oxidation can occur from using water, I’ve had no issues with any of the computers and radios I have restored. Good luck to you and happy restorations 👍

    • Он его перед тем как мать - "состарил", а результат "реставрации" - это состояние в котором был "мафон" до того, как он его испачкал грязью. Короче это полная наебка.

  • These videos are cheating. This is the reverse restoration. At the beginning of the video, you are shown item that was specially aged. At the end of the video, the item is not restored, as it was before "aging"

  • Объясните кто-нибудь,в какой это стране японская аудиотехника на мусорке валяется.Для Японии в этой деревне слишком грязно.В одном ролике я видел советскую рацию времён американо-вьетнамской войны 1956 года.И сделал вывод.что это Вьетнам.Но Вьетнам небогатая страна,а там японская аудиотехника валяется,хоть поломанная.Чтобы выкинуть такую технику,сначала надо купить новую.
