    • Electronic circuit boards do not take kindly to having baths ! Dropping a mobile phone in water usually renders it useless within seconds. So this always amazes me how everything they restore works first time !😄

  • Good to see how u had cleaned and restored that radio cassette,cd player,,,from where it was found at a beachside? Good how u replaced the bad capacitors u had found too. Good to hear the radio working,,,I thought u would've put in a cd and a cassette to b sure they work playing well too,,,unless u had tried it later after the video.

    • No worries. As I've repaired and restored a fair few vintage radio tuners/tape/cd players/turntables/amplifiers in the past too,,,and still use quite a fair few vintage sound systems 2day.

  • The finest restoration work! You have not clearly explained how you have utilised the same speakers, head of the CD drive, belts and other accessories without repairing or replacing them! You have not test played any Compact Disc and Cassette! On the whole it was a magical effect that the old audio system has changed into a brand new one! With Best Wishes!!

  • Cd will not survive, cassette still has chance, but the radio you need to replace the tuning Capacitor & retune it because tuning Cap will not survive with rain and dust, it is sensitive and most likely the culprit if you can't receive radio stations

    • No funciona ninguno de los 2 jajaja se vio que giraba la cassettera pero muy lenta ni le cambió las bandas elásticas y al reproductor de cd muy difícil que funcione después del estado en qué estaba de suciedad debió cambiar el lector láser completo.

  • Great job painting straight over rust doofus (speaker grilles)... You should have lubricated the switches and potentiometers with some WD-40 or similar product... Why didn't you properly test the cassette deck and the CD player? I take it that those don't work at all... Pretty poor restoration if you couldn't get those components working... 2/10 for this poor effort.
