I don't think that this radio is so cheap when it was brand new. At that time we overpaid for these technology while most of their function were now replaced by tiny semi-conductors modules instead of solid state ones. Restoring these 'relics' is always welcomed so we will always remember how they evolved to what we have today.
Maybe, but the cassette door is labelled "Happy Music". Not really an indicator of a quality electronic device.
I remmeber times, when repairs of any product was be normal. This is good idea, like do things right for less waste. Good job.
I used to repair stuff like that more than 20 years ago. Looking at your video, i realised i forgot about everything. Good job.
I am always amazed at how you remember where all the little parts, screws and wires go! Great work!
This guy is not only a great mecanic and not only an artist but he is realy a genious. What a tremendous skills and habilité. Bravo X 1,000,000 times.
You found a stereo radio cassette recorder so much similar at one which I had; mine was a similar model of mark "ESPACE", and on the high left part there was two cursors for regulating VOLUME and TONE respectively, and on the right loudspeaker there was MIC, for own voice recordings. My sincerely congratulations and compliments for restoring. Very more bravo.
A job well done sir ! 😎👍
I got hypnotized watching this video. Nice work restoring it!
absolute brilliance. A pleasure to watch this..... a lesson for our spoilt throwaway consumer society
I love home audio equipments. Happy to see a old taperecorder restored. Sadly new generation doesn't know much about audio equipments,
I can't believe I had this model 30 years ago, it was in black, I never imagined going to see it, I changed the speakers for a 3 "sony and I had it until I replaced it with a Fisher of CDs, thanks for those beautiful memories!
I had one of these as a kid! It used to sit behind my commodore 64 😁😁 Great restore job, thanks for posting!
Excellent job. Nice to see pride in one’s work.
Great job! I would love to find an 8 track style radio and have it restored like this.
I was hoping this video to be about a sleeper build but it was great nonetheless. Reminds me of our old Sanyo model back in the day.
A labour of love went into this restoration.
Really much hard work and time spending for an retro radio/cassette player...but sure it was worth it and i like it very much that old stuff is really gold!!🤗👍👍👍👍👍👍👍...looking forward for your next project??
Good work, really inspiring to me to do the same for some for my old radios and cassette players. Thank you.
this is the real therapy i needed. thanks youtube recommendation !
Looks very nice. Thank you for showing the chemicals you used. It seemed the 110/220V switch was not connected. Strange.
amazing job bro!! Where did you get the beautiful cassette shown at the end?
Now Happy Music is even happier! Great restoration 😃
I love these restoration videos. They teach us to value things that are still perfectly usable, instead of discarding them in a craze of obtainment of new items that we don't need, hopelessly polluting our innocent planet.
Yet another impressive project. Greetings from China!
At the end i had a smile from ear to ear, awesome job.👍👍👍
Hats off to you man. You spend so much time and energy to restore these old items. God bless you. 👍
Congratulations from Brazil for excelent job!

You’re just a god-guy in the restoration of radio technology, I would just throw such a device, your hands are golden!
You really pressure washed the pcb board 😂😂
What a satisfying and enjoyable viewing. It's like a story with a happy ending. I will watch this again.
You are a. Genius!!!
A very nice little device, great work, like always.
----------- You have golden hands)) Good job! I don’t know the budget of this work, but if it’s possible, it’s better to replace both speakers, the second one, although it looks more preserved, has also worked out its resource. And the buttons of the cassette mechanism would also be nice to paint in gold, as well as the edges of the carrying handle.
Good job! Awesome guys!
