    • @@justinkanicki8044All was Mismanaged. As a lions fan I was scared of Fields. He plays well at the position. Bears was running screen passes every other pass. Fields had several shitty oc's in his tenure, and oline and weapons was sus for his stay there. Carolinas best wr is a clearly aging wr in Adam Theilen, plus he hasn't had a semblance of a line. Levis gm is nerfing the roster since the AJ Brown trade. Zack Wilson was drafted FAR too early, Jets saw his youtube highlights and committed. Kenny Pickett had red flags all over the place. 5 year player and only had a good season, which was his last season. Plus the steelers where desperate for a qb and they reached (was supposed to be 2-3 round prospect). Mac Jones confidence was shot the moment Mr Pencil, and Joe Judge became his OC.

  • It would be remarkable if all 3 or maybe 4 if you include Penix JR or JJ McCarthy got to be all NFL stars. In the past, we've never seen a "royal flush" where you see multiple QB's turnout to be studs all in one draft year. As a football fan, I really want that to happen. To see more and better competition challenging other teams just adds to the entertainment. You don't need to be from the city to be a fan of a player sometimes you can just enjoy watching games that are competitive. And I hope these guys bring the level up in the pro league. I can't wait for next year. There's going to be a lot of interesting pieces in a lot of positions with this year's draft that looks very promising. The best WR to ever come out of UNC was Hakeem Nicks, so you can imagine a kid with good production and intangibles with little help around him could be a very good pro. I like Maye more than Caleb or the slight of build Jayden Daniels. For a franchise that needs a QB and doesn't have much around him I think Maye is the guy to step in put his head down and work. Caleb will be spoiled on the Bears, and Daniels could enter a scenario where he has worse talent at WR than he did at LSU.

  • A pro day is overrated when you're playing against no competition. Why not have a pro day where they put 11 defenders and 11 offensive players on the field. Call plays on defense where these qbs are forced to make decisions under pressure. It doesn't have to be super aggressive. Show specific coverages that scouts want to see. Some players struggle when there's no competition. Some athletes play better in real situations.

  • 1. Bears - Williams 2. Commanders - Daniels 3. Pats - Trade down to help with their rebuild. If no one wants to trade, they get Maye. Both Williams and Daniels have a good shot to do well in the NFL. Hard to tell who pans out (otherwise we'd all be billionaires). Though someone is out of a job if they skip out on Williams with the first pick and he becomes a superstar with whoever drafts him with the 2nd pick. Maye feels like your proto typical QB that is highly touted coming out of college and fades into mediocrity at the NFL level.
