Shaq’s ego is way to fragile to ever apologize
100% Remember when Kanye West grabbed the microphone from Taylor Swift, and blurted out that Taylor didn't deserve it because 'Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.' Implying that somehow it was impossible for Taylor's video to be as good. Shaq giving the award to Jokic and saying to him in that moment that he thought he didnt' deseve it, was almost the exact same insanely disrespectful and honestly clearly racists thing to say. I usually don't go for the racist side of things, it is injected far too often into situations that don't call for it, but in the case of Ye dis of Taylor's work in favor of a black artist, and similarly Shaq made up all these reasons why Jokic was not as good, meanwhile every state he brought up, he was wrong in, and Jokic was either tied with Gilgeous-Alexander, or actually had the better stats. Proving, like Ye, that Shaq hadn't even bothered to look up Jokic's actual numbers, and you only do that when you are dismissing him for some other reason besides how good a player he is. And frankly it really points to Shaq letting his personal issues, ego, past hurts, and yes racism, get in the way of him doing his job as a supposed NBA analyst. He came across as a giant egotistical baby... Sad, I used to really respect Shaq, the work he does with kids, etc. I just lost so mmuch respect for him recently... I seriously used to think he was one of the best Basketball Celebrities, and admired his charity work, etc... but man, I can't respect a guy who picks the moment Jokic is getting the reward he clearly deserves to attack him, it's just hugely disappointing and if he doesnt' honestly apologize. I will have no more time for him... I really enjoy Barkley's commentaory on the game, but I'll watch their show, if it means suffering and watching this version of Shaq, the hurt baby version...

When Jamal can play at full speed, the Nuggets are a freakishly good team.
Not only that but I feel like the nuggets have better third and fourth options in Gordon and porter than most other teams. Those 2 guys can explode for 25-30 points as well on any given night. Gordon no matter what always seems to be open for easy dunks too, joker always finds him under the basket

This series has been a chess match of strategy and counter-strategies between these players and coaches. Those strategies have exploited either Jamal Murray, Jokic, KAT, Aaron Gordon, Ant, etc. depending on the game we're talking about. The test every game is can those players adjust so they're not still the target of the other team's strategy? Amazing player but other great players prior to him and in other sports that did wonderful things. If Penny and Shaq didn't beat them in 1995 then Bulls go to the finals and Hakeem gives Jordan his L on his finals record.
