  • Here's a few fun facts about the Megamix! I've sunk way too much time into this series and I need somewhere to dump this info. - As you may have noticed, the "final" remix doesn't contain every minigame. However, if you include the left and right hand remixes (the previous 2 remixes before the final one), all the minigames present in Megamix are featured. - Starting from 1:41:54, each game's main themes are mixed in, accompanied with minigames from the respective entry. Tengoku goes until 1:42:18 (although technically the previous 2 minigames before it were also from Tengoku), then DS goes until 1:42:46, Fever goes on until 1:43:11, and Megamix finishes it out. - The baby coming out of the peach is in reference to the story of Momotaro, a baby who was found in a giant peach floating down the river by an elderly couple. - Tsunku, the lead producer and composer for the RH series, unfortunately lost his voice due to laryngeal cancer. Before his surgery, the last recording he did for RH was for Sumo Brothers. - The vocals for the honeybee remix (58:03) were actually done by Tsunku's daughter! - Infuriatingly, the BPM for Cheer Readers is 124. - Lockstep is objectively the best game in the series. This is it for now but I'll probably add more if I can remember.

Been trying to push myself to get through stress a lot lately and it just kinda helped me recontextualise that and realise that it's ok to not be able to complete things sometimes. Thanks Dan, you're a real KZhead of a human being and creator.

He didn’t outright say it but he would spend the entire stream trying and trying and just getting crushed because he wasn’t breezing through it. Part of being a (good) musician is practicing until you get it.

The creator is even making a comic series as a sequel, as well as some music videos. "The Bad Guy's Gonna Win" and "Good at Being Bad" are real bangers. It's criminal how under the radar the game is.

  • In each set of 4 games, the first one comes from Rhythm Tengoku (GBA), the second one comes from Rhythm Heaven/Paradise (DS), the third one comes from Rhythm Heaven Fever / Beat the Beat Rhythm Paradise (Wii), and the last one is new to Rhythm Heaven/Paradise Megamix (3DS). Karate Man is like, an odd-one-out. It originated from the GBA, but has returned for DS and Wii as well. The robot minigame... they are related. Both Fill Bots (DS) and Screwbot Factory (Wii) are called "Robot Factory" in the Japanese version, and considering both exist in Megamix, they had to tell them apart by "Robot Factory (oil)" and "Robot Factory (screw)". Rhythm Tweezers aka Vegeta-pull (forgot which is fan translation which is official) is a GBA minigame. However you would be right with the Warioware statement; Warioware does have a few minigames based on Rhythm Heaven minigames Scoring considers how far off you are with each input. To get 100 points, every one of your inputs has to be frame-perfect; just hitting all of them is not good enough.
