    • @@JCrook1028 in this case, not particularly. For most, any beef that's cooked in an oven, regardless of the technical term, is "roasted". A pot roast is technically a braise, but few would call it that if you asked them.

  • Lived in Chicago for 20 years and used to go this place regularly. Great burger and also an amazing selection of craft beers on tap and bottle. Orig owner sold a few years ago for close to a million. New owner has kept the same quality! In a town full of great burgers, this may be the best!

    • @@Darkware880 its a midsize operation. Seats prob 150. At 3 times profits. Thats approx 300+k a year. I’d say thats pretty good for a burger and beer joint.

    • Aluminum foil used to cover pot is actually placed in the braising liquid. Nooo ! I'm sure everything tastes great but but I would be so uncomfortable eating anything from this place.

  • I have been a meat cutter for over 26 years for HEB here in Texas. Nice boneless beef rib plates are retailing for $12 a lb now. Pretty expensive burger meat.
