I observed that the underrated artists are actually the most talented yet when artists give their genuine talent people seem to neglect it than artists who obviously have made-up careers. Only few of the genuine artists survive like ariana and justin bieber and justin timberlake to name a few.
Why is she so underrated? Just because she doesn’t wear makeup? She’s already beautiful when she opened at a Shawn mendes concert she literally wore sweatpants and a tee shirt she’s just being herself but she’s so damn talented
First song I heard of hers was "Here" and I knew she was going to blow up. Seems like she somehow hasn't become as big as I expected. It might be that she's one of those singer songwriters who just never reaches megastar status but keeps going for decades. She strikes me as one who is all about the art, and not about the image/marketing/fame so much. She may well be a happier, healthier person thanks to this....

Would it be better if it wasn't rehearsed and she was able to do that truly on the fly? yes. That is how they framed the game and that is NOT what she did. She is amazing but they could easily say "we prepared this next segment where "guest" will perform this mashed up impression version of "Bad Guy, by Billie Eilish. Enjoy!" Then it would not only be JUST as impressive but also not make it seem more impressive then it is. Honesty goes a long way in making people like you (or a show in this case)

@@mhm77887 Not the same... those typical singing performances aren't advertised as having surprise/"on the spot" elements, so the fact that they practice ahead of time doesn't actually take away from the performance at all unlike in this scenario. Obviously it is still very impressive, but it would be nice if Fallon stopped pretending as though there were an element of surprise for the singers/band during these performances (or, better yet, actually implement an element of surprise and don't tell the guest what singers or songs would be played ahead of time).

That's a good thing, actually -- her voice is extremely recognizable, which is very beneficial. But there are tons of better Ariana imitations out there that actually sound exactly like her when you close your eyes. Same thing with Shakira. Not hating, I mean the girl has amazing vocal chords. It's just that she can't imitate anyone because her voice is just too recognizable, too distinct.
