Last time we took the Money Pit Miata to the dyno we kinda realized our fuel system needed upgrading. So today we are changing all things fuel AND hopefully it’s worth our time. AND hopefully I don’t get covered in fuel … that stuff is not a good time!

    • They’ve talked about that before, they don’t use lifts because most people don’t necessarily have access, which is why they were also doing the work on the miata outside on the driveway. Once things like the turbo and other difficult projects came in, they stopped using the driveway and moved the miata to the garage, just because installing a turbo kit in the heat would suck. But even if they have a lift, they don’t use it for the miata

  • I remember when I had my fuel system all stock. Getting a stable tune was almost impossible, and i remember the thing that finally got me to upgrade was hearing my fuel pump cavitate coming into boost because of how much of a dick i had been to it. Got a bigass DW pump and a high flow rail and WOW what a difference. I cant believe I was sleeping on the fuel system for all those years. Fuel for DAYS.

  • I really like this channel so much, without my parents to help me nor anyone out there to be kind enough to point me in the right direction, it really gives me a lot to learn! To fix my car to run smoother it will be so cool, it's a 1989 2.3 scarlet red mustang. The second owner was my foster brother and he didn't take care of it, now I take care of her like and try to put her back together all original for the most part!

    • I think the miata is actually owned by donut media as a "business", still cool as hell to be buildin cars with the boys while being able to pay for everything with the money you get from it (plus all of the amazing work they also do at donut, scripting, editing, and a BIG etc) You just gotta love these guys and be happy for what they achieved

  • May I suggest a quick air jack I believe from harbor freight, to pick up and drop the cars. Would beat picking it up and dropping it with a floor jack.
