And began to vent her rage by letting out burst after burst of pure anger, and as her screams began to grow louder and louder, the air bending in her lungs began to grow stronger, and eventually it became so powerful that she separated the sea front.. Much like Moses did to the Red Sea, She would then go on to master this ability and used it not only to separate seas and end wars but even deafen a number of her adversaries along the way. And what's truly terrifying about this ability is that it can be learnt by pretty much any air bender with powerful emotion and lungs. So you see

Taking inspiration from the Nakam (A series of plots to avenge the Holocaust, that failed to materialize), a small group of surviving Airbenders would abandon their peaceful ways wholly, and plot to avenge the Genocide. Ultimately, such plots are ultimately doomed to failure, it would be interesting what stories could be told. Certainly, violent activities may draw the wrath of Sozin, and a young Prince Azulon, to the potential detriment of Nomad survivors that chose to peacefully assimilate.

I can list her deadly techniques - sound manipulation/ amplification - hard vacuum or vacuum creation/, - the deadlier version of vacuum. Basically creating a vacuum which can collapsed the respiratory system , then rapidly puts back the build up pressurized air making a shockwave . Imagine teleporting someone to hard vacuum then Putting it back in second to earth.

The key of soundbending is a strong lungs. Whether it is for blowing animal whistle to reach the whole city, triggering tribe thought to be extinct, to basically go Moses, with a proper breathing exercise, people will never mess with the airbenders
If we look at air bending from a scientific perspective it is the most powerful and versatile. Airbending is basically moving air molecules , the monks use them for pushing and pulling air like flying for example they just push the air around them to counter the gravitational force but if we look at air from the use of science they can do a lot of crazy sh*t. They can make a vacuum room which is basically just moving the air out of a room or around people causing the air in your lungs to be pulled out of your lungs (even if they held their breath they can only do so for 1 to 1 1/2 min & good luck trying to firebend in a vacuum) , they can compress someone instantly without them noticing like poof ur squash meat , they can literally be a gun by launching tiny pointy metal so what if earthbener have the sub metalbend ? Airbender with iron pellets is a quasi metalbender , they can create natural disasters like tornado or typhoons. These examples only uses the concept of pushing and pulling (basically controlling the flow of air) unlike waterbender’s changing the temperature of water , condensing energy from lighting bender , or crystallization from earthbending . If the airbenders weren’t peaceful and decided to start a war like the fire nation did 2/3 bending style would be quiet easy to conquer , if an airbender create a fast enough sphere ike air rotation around them (imagine aang’s scooter but larger around the airbender like a force field) they can deflect fire and water (if there’s enough air force) only earth can go through cuz it’s solid and heavy Soo it’s harder to push (lightning can go trough but only a few masters can do that) , just imagine an army with the same size of the fire nation from ATLA and there are soldiers that attacks with iron pellets shooting people’s head and some supports from behind making a air forcefield like tf can you do? I didn’t even mention the possibility of a poison gas bender which is basically a walking chemical weapon that can control who inhale the poison . But some of these bending art can only be done by a master or a few mid-high level benders , the bullet one is easy soo maybe low-mid lvl benders can use them , poison one anyone can do them without precision. Whelp these were my thoughts , just spent like 3 min writing this sorry if my grammar are abysmal english is my 2nd language 😅

I was doing dark avatars ideas once and I was coming up with the most powerful techniques for every faction. I would it be possible for a very powerful fire bender to steal/control heat around themselves or other people? Like suck the heat out of area and use it, or cause someone’s body to overheat/freeze to death? Body generates energy and heat, both things that a fire bender should technically be allowed to control. As for earth. Would it be possible for powerful earth bender to use pressure in order to crush/create materials into other elements? Like crush coal into diamonds etc etc? Air and Water are already made out to be op as F so I didn’t bother thinking about them.

Honestly in the show blood bending stopped their opponent even the avatar from bending all together. as of right now I think air bending is the most powerful air benders could essentially just fly.

One technique i thought would be cool would be compression bending, which would essentially be making a pressurized ball of pure air, which would work like what ang did with combustion man where he blocked the explosion but this could be used to create an explosion instead by mixing carbon with the compression bubble and lighting it up creating a massive explosion

I wouldn’t define any element as the most powerful per say, but when it comes to benders with the fewest weaknesses, it’s definitely airbenders. Theirs is the only element that constantly surrounds them everywhere and is available in all conditions, even under water (though that’s probably because they can bend the little bit of air already in their bodies), and only restraints of limbs and measures for the mouth and nose are their weaknesses, but even muzzling them wouldn’t be a guarantee. I still recall aang being captured by the fire nation and blasting zhao or some fire nation general with airbending from his mouth whist being restrained by chains attached the walls and ceiling. That being said, imagine if airbenders acted more like firebenders, they’d have a global empire and/or influence instead of the fire nation. It’d be so bad that ANY airbender would have people either backing away from them or attempting to kill them because they are that dangerous.🤔😳
Air is by far the strongest. 1) it’s all around u, 2) if a water bender can blood bend the a air bender can either suck the oxygen out of ur lungs, or blood bend too consider oxygen and carbon dioxide is in blood, 3) there’s no water with out oxygen so theoretically a air bender could separate the oxygen from water and render water benders useless. And after thousand of people recognize you (a monk, a Figur in a robe, with ritual tattoos all over the body, calmly standing) start to speak and your voice resonates over a whole battlefield loud and clear but with a soft voice telling them to stop.

Thats why the air nomads prectice pacifism and seclusion. Air bending is not only the most versatile, its the most powerful and deadly bending in the universe. There exists an airbending skill that can be used to slice through any object, a skill that can pull all the breathable air from a location(essentially creating a vaccum) amd can even create violent storms and tornados by manipulating the currents of hot and cold air and high pressure and low pressure. Sozin didnt genocide the air nation to kill the avatar, he did it because if the air nomads chose to fight they can not be stopped
