I build a unique and sturdy coffee table out of 10 pallets and some black walnut. At the end of the video I share some info on time, cost, size & weight at the end. This was a very labour intensive project but I had a lot of fun both constructing the table and editing the video. I hope you enjoy it!

I love the table. Awesome job!! The top we've all seen or done. No more than a nice thick butcher block. The legs however are fabulous. I love working the brick pattern into my vases and bowls so anytime you can get a brick pattern into a curve is awesome.

Just want to throw a shout out to the man’s beautiful $220 dollar titanium stiletto hammer. Those hammers are worth every dollar for their functionality and joy that come from using it. I also love your number break downs! They are very fun, informative, and unique as compared to a lot of other creators. Love it.
I’ve had that hammer for 12 years. I used it full time framing houses for years. I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of it a hundred times over.
It does not matter what the durability of that coffee table will be, for the mere fact that you built that for yourself, and it looks amazing. The important thing is that you are content with that. The clips you put at the end of this video are funny. I know that feeling when you are working with wood and the pieces fall over. Keep up the good woodwork. Thankyou very much for sharing. The ONLY ODD THING about this exercise is it appears he first built this pallet out of wood he wanted to make a table with. I've NEVER seen a pallet with such sturdy quality material; it doesn't mean he's not talented, the video is just misleading
You might be surprised about pallet wood after planning and sanding
Luckily, where I live, a huge majority of the pallets I find are made of oak or something similar in strength and something softer like pine. I've had great luck with pallets and found some gorgeous pieces of wood. Just need to sand away the ugliness.

Beautiful work, Ryan, and I love the video, it really captures how hard you work! I'll second the vote on a pneumatic nailer (if you have a compressor, that is), it really speeds up the denailing remarkably. Also a pallet buster makes a big difference, though every pallet is different hammer and prybar still come in handy. I'm curious if you know what got shipped on those particular pallets - I work a lot with pallets but have a hard time finding hardwood. Happy Christmas and I hope you're not getting hammered too hard by the weather out west.
I almost said a piece at the end on my poor planning to procure a pneumatic punch and proper pry bar in time for this project and having to do things the old fashioned way (again). Merry Christmas to you!
The whole table is GORGEOUS!! But those legs....WOW! I'd pay good money for a table like that. I truly enjoyed watching the build. When I was a young girl, I used to love watching my Daddy build. The smell of the wood, the sound of the saw and seeing the end result. Great memories. Thank you for the great effort you put into making your videos. 🤎

I'm green with envy of your woodworking skills & creativity. I make custom knife scales & am getting into the exotic woods now. A great hobby that consumes a lot of my "extra" time in retirement. I've been trying to find detailed videos on laminated designs, and this is a huge help. I can't seem to wrap my head around it unless I see it done first. I'm trying to figure out how to laminate wood together so that when it's cut, there's a flower 🌼 or something like that. Can't seem to find anything on it though.

I'm about halfway through and something I am noticing is that the tools used are really anything the average hobbiest wouldn't have or, at least, have access to. Most videos anymore are basically "here's how I built this in a shop with just my half million in tools". With the tools being an equalizer, the skill and talent are the only reason someone couldn't do this. So far, I'm loving this! Just subscribed and watching the rest now!

Fascinating. I've just got my mitts on a mafell track saw. They have some beasts. Mine goes to 85mm and would be another way to do your cuts. I did not think they were unsafe- just more difficult than they needed to be...
That saw would have been a big help for flushing up those ends.
It's quite hard work, and the skill you have is incredible. Making it is like solving a Jigsaw puzzle. But owing such a table is really expensive.
