I like how the description says “simple.” I’d love to see his definition of difficult.
Thank you for taking a look. For me, the path from conception to completion is not an "easy" one. So I am sincerely grateful for your viewing.
It is simple, you're just a simpleton 🤡😂
was it the whole putting plastic wrap around something that was difficult for you? or the turning something in a circle?

No words spoken, no music in the background, and 100% totally entranced-entertained- and educated at the same time. Good video and I’m now looking to do some of this in my shop…

@@YASUHIROTV You have golden hands and a bright head, I watched your video with pleasure, thanks for the science. Hello to you from Russia.
I have seen so many different ways to build various handy jigs for woodworking made by many talented people but what you have introduced to us is just amazing and I absolutely love it.

Felicidades y muchas gracias.
This blew my mind! Being so well planned, with beautiful craftsmanship, creativity, and precision. Bravo Yasuhiro, I am thoroughly impressed!
Is it racist to observe that meticulous Japanese craftsmanship is nonpareil?

I was truly wondering as he went carefully through each step how and where he was going with this. It reminds me of the “machines” my toolmaker instructor used to make and use for his own projects. Beautifully done, thank you for sharing with us, but mostly thank you for reminding us that we don’t have to be limited to what the stores have to offer when we need something specific; we can design and make it ourselves!

Isn’t that the point of having tools?
Wow nice your work with wood and machine. I like that my business in the future. I am deaf from Taguig City Philippines
@@lisajohnson6351 Damn right! But you know how it is with guys and tools, gotta just fill the shop with the shiny new stuff that can make the work so easy that it takes all the fun and creativity out of it. Less money = more brain 🧠

🤔🛠 This video had me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating each step and wondering where the creator was heading with this project. It's reminiscent of the innovative "machines" my toolmaker instructor used to craft for his own projects. The craftsmanship and attention to detail showcased in this video are truly remarkable. It serves as a powerful reminder that we don't have to settle for what's available in stores; we have the ability to design and create our own unique solutions. Thank you for sharing this inspiring and beautifully executed woodworking project! 👏🔧✨

I REALLY appreciate that not only did he make this entertaining and educational video, but his kind inclusion of a parts template was what I appreciate the most.
And no stupid jingles playing throughout.

What a masing tool. I have drawn it up in Sketchup, in preparation to make it. Magic. Cheers.
I would be very happy if this is helpful. Thank you for your comment.
I have never seen an oscillating tool used that way. I have a cheap one and never thought it could be used to cut accurately. Very cool.
Depends on the level of accuracy a long cutting blade/drill will drift. You can actually see the tenon is not cut even at frame 12:26

This was done with AI
the timing of this coming into my feed is impeccable. i just hauled tons of wood and am assembling my benches, workstations and warehouse from scratch now, and im planning these in before getting started now :)
Started doing what? Making modular jigs? Woodworking may not be what you think. Doodling with bits of wood and talking bullshit is not a trade work.
the epoxy fit to the tool is clever and adaptable to many things. especially like the trim router jig, which allows almost CNC-like control in some situations. for example, the slot in the angle aluminum could have been done with the trim router. however, if i make something like that i'll use a high quality plywood (like bamboo) for the clamp, as it is much more resistant to cracking when tightened
Bamboo plywood? Where do you get that?
@@tonylawrence9157 south china and probably southeast asia. it's the hardest, flattest, strongest, stiffest, most stable and high-quality sheet product i've ever used, and there are several styles of laminate, a thick core going opposite direction of the surface grain, laminated only across the width of the board (not-laminated across the thickness), suitable for furniture-making, and a few other styles in metric-equivalent thicknesses from 1/4 to 1 1/4". i've never seen it in lumber yards in the US but assume it could be special-ordered-- for a price
@@tonylawrence9157 you can use birch plywood
@@sottx8268 Baltic Birch yes, not the cheap birch so much

Bravo YASUHIRO. I'm really impressed. A few years ago I had a similar problem with drilling long holes. Here is a simple solution. Excellent.
Maravilhosas ideias práticas
Fantastic ideas. Maybe it's also an idea to attach a steel ruler to some jigs, so that the position can be fixed precisely? Vertically or horizontally.
Some great jigs and making the ultimate use of these affordable tools. You can literally make anything with that set up. I have some of the portable power tools to covert now. Thank you!
Great design and great idea! I have nearly all the same Bosch tools and have been wanting to somehow mount them as well so this was very inspirational. Additionally, I've been mulling over on how to make my vise, drill press, and (maybe) table saw modular all attaching to a steel 4-wheel handtruck dolly cart that can mount on the wall when not in use. I think your modular idea might work for that as well, just not sure if the base should be wood or steel for heavy duty things like that...
Your comments are very encouraging. I hope that adding your various ideas will make woodworking more enjoyable.
I wonder if you got unlocking trunk with wheels on one end if you could make a multi tool case. Fit a diy table saw/table router in it etc. All you have to do is wheel it wherever you go and u pack. I have all Dewalt cordless tools and was thinking of using the cordless circular saw as a cordless tablesaw. Same thing with my router, drills, etc.
😅😅😅😊
Mesmerizing, super-functional, and increases the value of each tool exponentially. Thanks! (Plan diagram at 9:41)

Talentoso e faz o trabalho com precisão. Parabéns
Great idea, and well executed. Don’t know if anybody has mentioned it, but you could consider adding some indexing pins (dowels) to the main base. That way your “insert” plates for the machines will always fit in the same spot
Yeah thats pretty bloody smart too
I like that idea. I would do it so the holes don't widen after long term use by using nylon or metal bushings. Then you could secure it in place with N54 neodymium magnets. The pins would just maintain register for lateral motion. Those magnets can come with counter sunk holes for attaching with flat head screws.
Parabéns pelo trabalho
This is really useful. It’s like a wooden version of a Bridgeport. So… a Birchport! Nice job on this.
Thank you for watching. Your feedback is also encouraging.
Respectable master !!!! Thankful!!!!!
I too will learn from you all. Thank you for your warm comments.
It would be a huge improvement to the sliding rail jig or the tilt jig if you were to give it 2 dimensions for it to move in so that if you wanted to put several biscuit joints for example you wouldn't have to disassemble and reassemble, but either way it is really neat to see what you worked on!
Full schematics are there ! ( but only for a second long) . Pause @9:40

So simple yet so genius. Honestly this just makes me want to build my own
By all means. I am very happy to do so. Thank you very much.
Very good idea, well made, good design & NO MUSIC = perfect video 👍
You're getting close to some of the functionality of a multi-router. If there was ease of movement on another axis you'd be even closer. And without paying the insane $3000 usd price. This was inspiring. The simplicity and cleanliness of your builds makes me want to improve my own.
Well done! To brace the tools, the putty epoxy (Cemedine HC-115) didn't seem to be available in the US - Instead, I used Moldable Polymorph Plastic to brace the tools - the benefit too is that it's cheaper and can be reused IF you mess it up :)
