I have found that paying with my Apple Watch is the easiest method for Apple Pay.
I always use my watch with Apple Pay, hardly over the phone
The Transit Card feature is legendary! I absolutely love that.
Might have missed it or not covered, but your section on Non-Payment cards - can you add same as a payment card or must you use 3rd party app to add that way? You show non-payment cards in your wallet, but not how to get them there.

How did you add your Banner Aetna card? I have one and can not seem to figure it out....
Mine doesn’t have an other card option and when I tried adding my Az license after about 25 minutes I gave up. It wanted me to tilt my face from side to side, when I did it displayed that movement was detected? I’m going to try again, hopefully with better results. I like your content, watch every u tube of yours.
Just keep trying , it took me a couple tries then no problem.

Some store cards state in the App Store they support Apple wallet but when you go too add the card the wallet app rejects them ,which forces me to use another app to store these cards

Thanks for the video… Very helpful information. The best tip that I got was discovering that my Aetna card can be added to the Apple wallet. I have two daughters and have to carry a card for each of them… So this is a game changer for My, actual wallet in terms of space
I always have a huge struggle with removing some items like when I travel I have my Hertz reservation in it but there is no remove option until it expires. I can remove all the others but some of these I can’t. Why not please??

Excellent points! This is very useful information. The video and audio are quick paced and very info packed. It does seem that you're speaking to someone quite familiar with the wallet app. For me, the video to skimmed through in a continuous stream of quick paced information. There seemed to be little pause to give a feeling of sentences or paragraphs. Perhaps then chapter markers would coordinate. I did find rewinding very necessary with quite a few of those gems! Thank you. This topic and your knowledge are worth sharing.

When is all the states drivers licenses going to be on the wallet?
The ability to view your balances in the UK is great.
Some expire so quickly however and you need to reconnect them. Annoying. But I agree. Seeing the live balance is great

One thing I don’t like about wallet is whenever you open wallet it always shows the last card u use I wish it can go back to default ! Or maybe an option like stay with last card for , say ten min or when I left the location It also require better’s organization I should be able to have wallet bring up specific card with short cut and automation
Apple Card came out in 2019 Also I use Apple Pay BUT for WHEN there's a POTENTIAL OUTAGE and when I'm at a merchant that DOES NOT ACCEPT Apple Pay OR I have a maximum of 5 transactions that are shown as "PENDING" I WILL USE CASH I keep my PHYSICAL 💳 in a lockbox hidden somewhere in my living quarters
Hopefully we get some of those wallet app features here in 3rd World country Miami AKA Cuba, cause many stores and such don’t like to not even accept the Apple Card for purchasing. 😒

Only thing I learned from this video is that I was using the Apple wallet correctly the whole time. Also go back and edit the video you did show your address and I would even censor the last four numbers on the credit card that shows up as well.
I am hoping that more states can be added to the drivers license feature on Apple wallet, I’m shocked that New York is not a part of the list of states that are supported to use this feature.

I would LOVE to have my ID on my phone but I don't think this is going to happen in most states for a LONG TIME 😢 It seems 90% of states are very resistant to it.

You didn’t mention anything about using it with various reward programs from various retailers, like Starbucks, Chipotle, Cava, etc.

What’s the point of Apple Card/Cash. A bank account and bank card seems to be able to do literally everything it does (in Europe anyway)

The state ID (in Maryland) is only good for use at an airport. It does NOT let you leave your physical state ID at home for any other use. Therefore, it’s kind of useless at this point.

This only works in the US and in some major cities
The problem with having everything on the iphone is : if someone has your passcode they can just add their face ID and pretty much open all your banking apps. Apple changed the way change the passcode but there is no need if you're going to add a different face ID. Its not safe at all

The thing that scares me is that if you loose your phone, or someone jumps you & takes it, you have lost access to everything, which can be a disaster if you are away from home.
Same thing with your actual wallet. If it's your phone at least your physical cards are safe and you can always deactivate the old phone and add them again on the new phone
It’s been such a disappointment that Drivers License haven’t had a lot more traction. I know for a fact state of IA has been waiting on approval from Apple since last summer but still nothing. They says it’s not due to legislation since we already approved it so idk what’s going on with that.

I have to admit. I have also had the credit card since it came out. And I have never been able to use my watch or the phone. I have always had to use the card. Fingers are too fat and I can’t get to the watch buttons fast enough; and / or there’s always 100 people behind me huffing and puffing; the old lady is not moving fast enough. And I live up in the woods, where most people have never heard of an apple wallet anything; so it took a long time to find vendors.
FYI the transactions are not ALL transactions just all the Apple Pay transactions. Wouldn’t include whenever you, for example, typed in the number online.
I am from Georgia and have the digital ID. I’ve had it for half a year now and haven’t found a place to use it beside the airport specifically in Georgia(Atlanta). Gas stations ect. Don’t use it
Being from Maryland and having my ID on my iPhone 15 promax. I can confirm that you will never be able to get rid of your main physical I. D. There are only certain things you can use the digital I d for in maryland and also, Zero states allow you to use your phone ID as a valid ID if you're pulled over by Police.

11:23, you actually don't need to be US-based *or* over 18 to set up Apple Cash. You need a US tax identification number (SSN or ITIN) and if you're under 18, an adult over 18 who has a verified Apple Cash account can allow you to use Apple Cash as well through Apple Cash Family, if you're in a Family Sharing group with them.

Cash back will always trump points. Point are valued at whatever dollar amount. People like to spend 10K on credit cards just to get 500 dollars worth of points😂
$500 back on 10k spend is still 5% cash back lol. I recently took a European trip and flew business class there and back for 2 people and 7 Hyatt hotel nights. All spent with points. Much more value with chase points than cash back. But it’s not for everyone. I do spend time finding the best redemptions. So cash back is better for setting and forgetting

I suggest you be careful when showing screens on your device that have your personal and financial info. Multiple times here you showed your address, the last four of your card number, and the numbers of your other cards and passes, even your QR code. You even mentioned in the video that the screen on the phone shows billing address, yet you didn't cover up yours. Outside of blocking the personal info, you don't need to be showing your own cards and passes for people to know the Wallet can store that, Apple provided stock photos online of the Wallet app capabilities that you can use. Idk if you don't watch back the videos, or tell the editor to block your info on it, or you don't think it's a risk, but you should be more risk aware and cognizant of the personal info you're showing on the screen to strangers.

@@FrankDijkstra who talked about credit cards ? 😅 I was referring to ID and Driving license… we have our own government app with those cards (and more) here in Portugal. But I would like to add them into my Wallet too.
I would be reluctant to exclusively use digital id. The benefit of not carrying around a physical id isn't worth it, in my opinion. Fine as a backup. If you ever find yourself in trouble with the law you will be forced to unlock your phone to share your digital id. Do they now take your unlocked phone to the police car outside your view to write your ticket, process you, etc? That is bound to be uncomfortable and possibly exposes you to a search of your phone without a warrant. I wouldn't take the chance.
