I'm an airline pilot, and this is one of the best preflight briefings I've ever seen. I would love to fly with that Captain.
My dream job is to become an airline pilot! I'm 32
Plus the pilot on the video sounds like the stereotypical pilot..."ahhhhh"
He is definitely prepared.
True!
That’s what happens when you’re on video for your employer to see 😅
What a professional! And the way he shares everything with that joy you see in his face. Wow!
I have watched many of the video's. This, by far, is the BEST I have ever seen. Captain Jim, his physical touch of the entire instrument panels in the cockpit and his narrative of each is exceptional - superior. Captain Jim would make an awesome commercial flight instructor. Thanks Captain Jim and F/O Russ for an amazing flight video.
This production is stellar! Congratulations to all involved.
You couldn't get me on a plane at gunpoint but I'm always fascinated by the work that goes into it. I've watched countless numbers of these types of videos and this is by far the best yet. Great job and happy flying.
This is the best explanatory flight prep and input by far. Thanks for this. Will help me in MSFS 2020
Would say 763 is one of my original widebody aircraft that I serviced as a line tech and holds a special place in my heart.
Best Preflight Checklist to Date! Superb Job Guys! Awesome and it is obvious you Practice SAFETY FIRST! Thank You Both for All You Do For this Industry! 🤗👍👏💐❤️🙏🙏
Great Video - the captain explained all the key processes. As a private pilot, I found this not only enjoyable but very educational. Thank you for sharing!
What a great video. I feel like I could take a 767 out right now! He is a great instructor.
Love the 767. AC has some very proud pilots!
This pilot is awesome, and he has a great copilot. I love listening to them. They have a plan. They know the drill.
Im just casually watching this video late at night and once they start talking about their background I start listening more and the first thing he says is sault college graduate.......I'm currently enrolled in their aviation program right now! Insane how stuff like that works
Very professional. Very thorough...
Air Canada ❤❤✈ !!!!! Happy Easter JP and Team 💛🌞💛!!!!! Many greetings 🇳🇱🇺🇸 Xx..........
I enjoyed this briefing the whole video made me feel like I was apart of the crew 😂👍🏿👍🏿
Like how clear the explanation is. Great video.
767-300ER is a beast!
Incredibly informative. Thanks you so much for such a professional, yet fun, video. You two are entertaining. Happy trails!
Wow, perfect,we are proud of you Captain ❤️ Pilot ❤
Loved every minute of this. What a great team
Please help me i what came 🙏 there 🙏
I want visit
This is my first video to watch from your channel. Ahh... the famed beach ⛱️ landing runway. That was most interesting
Great explanation!! looks just like my SimBrief flight plans. So cool the realism from the sims vs real life!
incredible detail thanks what a professional Captain
This was fun to watch. I almost miss the old paper Jepps and charts. Almost..
This pilot is very thorough, and now I want fly Air Canada in hopes that he is my pilot, that is assigned to my flight for a long haul route.
I know this is an older video, are there any other videos with Captain Jim? Thank you. :)
best ive ever seen!! thanks
Nice detail! Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Thank you; thank you for sharing these awesome videos.
Very professional captain. Good stuff.. seriously amazing
I could fly with this awesome captain ta any destination..❤
Well done well done! beautiful flight! Old school paper no GPS. 5x5 from here!
Da best...lot of it technical lingo but that means I'm flying in safe hands. So much goes into flight prep and in flight, i am in awe.
I like how he touches all the control switches as he goes thru all the panels so he doesn’t miss anything.
I've been to St Maarten numerous times, but never saw an Air Canada heavy there. Is this new service? Will be back in October and would love to see a 767 landing there.
Awesome video! Great footage from inside the cockpit and very informative. The detail those pilots go into is unreal and the way they explain things makes watching very addictive! I wish there were still as many 767s around as when this was made because it's becoming much rarer to score a flight on a 767 nowadays as many have already been retired...✈️✈️✈️
Pretty look backgrounds coming both from Ontario. Now living outside birthday and is beautiful up here. I was born in Trenton and don't miss it at all lol. I am there enough to visit and times have changed over the last 20 year's down there I tell you. 😂😂
Mong bạn một lần bay đến Việt Nam(sân bay nội bài-Hà Nội)🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
outstanding
hi from australia
Amazing Video! Im guessing this video was recorded before 2020 considering air canada and air canada rouge retired their 767-300ers in that year
Squarwk 2236 canada, Good flaigth!!
Great set up. Frugal on fuel. How many tons¿ ?
Cuidado con algún ovni....Dios les bendiga y guarde
What a professional crew!. Would have been a better viewing experience if the FO had been mic'd up properly.
Bon ane bon voyage 🛫 ✨
He explained it so well I think I could probably get it off the ground. Getting it back on the ground isn’t a problem. I cannot guarantee one piece though
Nice like to see buddy AJ do that also .So mr champion get on it lol
I would love to fly with such a great cpt. 😁
How much KM is that?
B767❤
How many minutes prior to departure do you receive your flight plan?
why does the capt keep his hand on the yoke in cruise and A/p is on ? 47:15
How old is this video? I can tell it is windows 95 or 98 being used on a CRT which have been stopped from manufacturing 20 years ago!!!
it says 2013 in title ;) and its a windows XP windows 95-98 had a grey menu bar
Papers and computer screen says 28 January 2012 so it dates a little!
CRT monitors?
Everytimme i Look at the captain, i see Mayor Winston of NYC in Spin city:))))
No niin nyt tuli nälkä😮 kiitos videosta
V2 plus 30 after takeoff
Question for all the Pilots out there, when the 1st officer called 80 knots, should the Captain (PF) not have checked his speed indication and made sure his airspeed was also as showing as 80 knots? All he said was 'Roger'
Our company procedure reply is "checked or throttle hold " the 80 kts serves 2 purposes, first is a cross check of airspeed second is the end of the slow speed reject area, above 80kts is considerd a high speed reject and only reject the take off for engine failure or fire, windshear, or anything else you believe makes the aircraft unflyable.
B767-300ER very nice airplane nice trip report. Air Canada. 767-300ER all airlines. 🛫🛬✈️✈️🧳💺🌍🌎🌏🌐🗺️🇨🇦🇨🇦
❤
Comment on air cansa Boeing 767 300er cockpit torno to st mas SAULO jurez ❤️❤️
👍
Climb 1.500ft
Russ did you say Oshawa? That’s where I’m from
The captain has an uncanny resemblance with Dr. Brian Greene and John McEnroe.
UTC Time?
14:15
St Maarten? Isn't that the place where almost naked people lift up their arms to create the illusion of hugging a landing jet? I hope this plane will be like a huge dragon only a tiny bit above of someone in a bikini. It will be a beautiful photo. Try an extra low landing, Captain! Create art!
This captain likes to fly!
Old 767 looks outdated
Mach 0.77?? isn't that well below economical cruise peed of a Boeing 767, I though 0.80 or 0.82 as 0.86 is max. Obviously they know what they are doing, I am just surprised.
😊😅
Really weird all that chewing going on ...what is going on with that ? Then a a sawing the controls like a lumberjack landing really strange for a career pilot
Perfect apart from the annoying gum chewing-cartoon character-bless.
This is a 12 year old video....
And?
And? Am sure you have a 24 year old video 😒
Yes, they are using CRT’s
.....and time well spent 😊
That's what I though, combination of the video quality and the fact they are using a 767
Wow, Windows XP running on the computers. Haven't seen that in 20 years!
