    • @@I_am_Spartacus Well, they have to eat and live their lives too. Soo money are important. The idea is to make some passive income from giving people easy to use, quality resources to achive professional looking effects quickly. Its fair deal and still can be usefull as a tutorial, you just do your own materials and lights. They already gave a lot of free stuff and lessons for Blender community, theres nothing wrong to give them back some goods ;)

      @ciaps84@ciaps843 ай бұрын
    • @@I_am_Spartacus You realise that the course he promoted at the start of the video was completely free, right? Also I'm pretty sure the original comment was saying 'product' in the sense that the iPhone 15 is a product, not that they are promoting their own products... If it really bothers you that much, get the sponsor block addon for whatever browser you're using. EDIT: Nevermind, I just realised your talking about the Material addon. Even so, there's still a lot you can learn totally for free from their youtube channel and many others, you aren't obligated to buy anything. You can still learn to make your own materials in blender by watching other tutorials...

  • I've modelled and rendered videos of iPhone 15 pm even before it's launch and uploaded it on KZhead. I thought trying something new will give some amount of views but only a very few just went through my video 😢 Remembering that tragic event as it took me a month for rendering 😂💀😢

Still he gave got poor views but anyway content were nice. youtube algorithm will not promote you , you have to make a good amount of views by sharing etc , then only KZhead will promote in atleast a fair way 🥵🤷 Have experience 💀

  • Hi Sir, I'm new in hard surface, When do I need to be concerned about the topology? Is this the type of hard surface method can I invest in learning?

    @sk8soxerr@sk8soxerr3 ай бұрын
    • It depends massively on what you want to use the model for. If you need the model to deform, such as a character model that is rigged and animated, then you need clean topology with a consistent density. If you want to make hard surface models, (ones that will likely never need to deform) then the approach Josh is using here is just fine. For hardsurface models, N-Gons are perfectly fine, but you want to make sure they are triangulated before exporting from Blender. That being said, even if you want to learn hard surface, learning topology fundamentals, Sub-D, and doing a few topology exercises is recommended, so you have those skills, as they will surely come in handy.

  • Is there anyway to do slash operation like this without add-on in blender?

    @kagan8579@kagan85793 ай бұрын
    • Blender has a built-in addon for boolean workflow called bool tools. Active it, run a slash operation, and then just check the parameters set under the boolean modifier that it will add

    • @@denysk.1178 why because of ngons?

      @Dina_tankar_mina_ord@Dina_tankar_mina_ord3 ай бұрын
    • @@denysk.1178 It depends what you're using it for. For the purpose of this render its perfectly fine to use N-Gons. A lot of professionally made, incredible looking hard surface video game assets are modelled with N-Gons present. (They're triangulated in the final product, of course) If you're really a professional then you understand that context matters. No point going overboard with perfect Sub-D all quads topology if its for a render and will never need to deform or subdivide. A topic as broad as 3D art can never be boiled down to "N-Gons bad", "Booleans bad", etc... Pick your battles wisely and choose the method of making a model that best suits what you need it for.

  • 1.Instead of scaling the phone - change scene setting to millimeters 2. Use official technical drawing instead of photos 3. Make actual holes for volume and lock buttons, you need small bevel in phone body 4. Apple logo should be used in shader as mask for “mirror” shader. 5. Try applying all those booleans ;), if you want to export your model 6. We understood you learned about bevel 😂, now learn about topology maybe.
