Whoever watched the game had to have seen how bad the Avs defense was that first period. When you let other teams just hang out in the crease and not clear rebounds, this is what happens.
I mean, none of their 3 goals were scored off a rebound, or somebody in the crease... so what are you talking about?
@JoexWalsh Pastarnak's was off of a rebound that Makar tried to clear and it got stolen. Second was a cross crease pass where two Bruins were just hanging out. Third was a nasty tip in. I guess you weren't paying attention buddy boy
@@soulknife20 By your logic the bruins could have scored from their own defensive zone and if there was a rebound 40 seconds prior it's because of the rebound. Nobody was hanging out in the crease on the second goal either, and you admit the 3rd goal had nothing to do with either of those. You just disproved everything you originally said

One thing I can say is the Avs dynamic has been all over the place, I can only guess what is really going on through the players heads with all the sustained injuries and potential drama between people around them. Captainless, Lande is still down but not out, chuchu is going through something but keeping some aspects of it out of public eye (understandably with personal affairs) and the NHL itself has been inconsistent with calls and penalties. Mckinnon is laser focused on wins and puck plays and makar is still young despite being very skilled and knowledgeable. Who can the team truly look to for guidance both on and off the ice, it has felt like a revolving door of injuries and personal struggles with bursts of perfect synergy and dominance. This whole season has been pretty crazy on all fronts, I feel like every week something happens that has never or almost never happened before.
Big win against a good team. Way to be boys!

Georgiev plays his nuts off every night and doesn’t have a backup who can share the workload. He’s no Vezina candidate but I’d like to see Swayman/Ullmark play as many games as Georgie back to back.
Bednar has a pretty bad habit of doing that though, running his starters into the ground and rarely using the backups. i recall when it was Grubauer/Varlomov sharing duties as the only time that goalies got a roughly 50/50 net split, and thats only becuase varly played 90% of the beginning of the season until Grub basically releaved him of his starter duties, and than played 90% of the second half of the season. After Varley moved on and Pavel Francouz become backup, things got a bit easier for Grub as Frankie would play along the lines of 30-40% of games but the constant injuries the following years ruined that @@emperoralvis6559

When will the avs admit that Georgie is not a number 1. He is a back up at best. Last season had good stats because of his team. The team could have done more with a better goalie. This team is a cup team and they don’t have a goalie that they have faith in, and he can’t steal a game like swayman or ullmark, or many other goalies. I hope Sakic doesn’t continue to put stock in this guy. Pull in someone that’s good from a bad team, showing that you have faith, suddenly they are on a cup contending team. That goalie will give you everything. The Avs will be able to win. It’s insane that no one is really talking about this. His stats are garbage and he has some of the best D in the league. It’s time.
