I can think of a couple old time goalies that would have handled some of this themselves. Billy Smith, Ron Hextall, Eddie Balfour, and one or two others would have absolutely nailed some of these guys, If Avery pulled what he did on Smith, Smith would have belted him with his stick and broken a bone or two.

Most of these are just petty but funny from a viewers perspective. Most of them should be deserving of a penalty but that doesnt mean i dont get a good laugh out of watching them. However, the move by gudas to trip up the defender and then celebrate in the goalies face is very telling of him as a player and shouldve at least gotten the goal taken back if not also earning toronto a powerplay. I can think of a couple old time goalies that would have handled some of this themselves. Billy Smith, Ron Hextall, Eddie Balfour, and one or two others would have absolutely nailed some of these guys, If Avery pulled what he did on Smith, Smith would have belted him with his stick and broken a bone or two.
Smith wouldn't have been that nice to him. Neither would Hextall; Avery would have been picking up teeth off the ice. At the other end of the rink.
That would be a 10-25 game suspension

Most of these are just petty but funny from a viewers perspective. Most of them should be deserving of a penalty but that doesnt mean i dont get a good laugh out of watching them. However, the move by gudas to trip up the defender and then celebrate in the goalies face is very telling of him as a player and shouldve at least gotten the goal taken back if not also earning toronto a powerplay. (And just for the record im not a toronto fan i just think its stupid this went uncalled)
