I think the biggest problem with most of these clips is that the goalie’s are hitting illegally. They’re going low (tripping), leaving their feet (boarding) or hitting players nowhere near the puck (interference.) There’s no rule saying you aren’t allowed to make contact with the goalie if he’s playing the puck outside of the crease. Now in the crease I'm sorry what part of being vulnerable do you not understand. Goalies will protect themselves. It’s wild to me how little effort the goalies seem to put in and the players just go FLYING
@BaxterBear692 жыл бұрын
well, usually the NHL likes taller players for a goalie, so most of them are atleast 6'2 without their skates on. That, plus the muscle mass they need to put on while training and their equipement, pads and gloves included, they train with all their equiment on when they're on the ice, so it makes their mass considerably bigger than the other players. it's a bit like a smart coliding with a pickup truck. Bigger moving objects generate more force even when slower speed compared to smaller objects, since you need more force to move a bigger mass. so even at low speed their mass is considerabely more than that of the players. so when player go towards a golie and they just push them a bit, poof, player goes flying. Even more so when you just try to redirect them rather than coliding full on face to face, that stops the momentum and the goalie need to push a little more to redirect the force to the player who colided with him, so a face on contact will obviously result in a smaller distance made by the player who felt when compared to a bump.

I can’t wait to see Lucic run Dell. “Clash of the Cheapshots”
Price just casually makes revenge hit and stare down.
I've played and watched a lot of hockey, is it goalie interference if they hit a player? Or are they legally able to hit just like regular players?
It depends
when you just finished watching a delta video and then he uploads a new one 😩
My guyyy 🤝
i've been watching aaron dell since allen americans man love him
Is that first clip - Buffalo at Senators - COVID closed or normal Ottawa crowd?
I like how this is pretty much just a video of Task and Dell hitting players inspired by Dell hitting a player
I love the vibe of this "Get the fuck out of my goal!"
Hey delta highlights in a Waterloo blackhawks (ushl) game about a month ago a goalie missplayed the puck of the boards and bounced into the net super cool if that could get in a video
A few of these goalies were just like a bored cat randomly deciding to swat at something 😅😅
Every nhl video game they need to add this where goalies can lay a hit
Wonder who inspired this one 🤔
I love this video
I am kind of a fan of goalies checking a driving player. Very effective.
This is why you should be allowed to hit a goalie when they come out to play the puck. Goalies cant have it both ways
Yeah like knockout staring goalie to injury and win a game against reserve one. What are you talking about? Are you drunk?
@@fakeplayer9088 if they wanna come out of the crease and play the puck then they should be able to be hit they dont own the ice
@@fakeplayer9088 Stay in your crease
You don’t make the rules shut up I am tired of the dumb comments
Basically don’t knock anyone out And remember that goalies only have special protection in the crease outside they are just like normal players
can you do a vid "goalies breaking stickes
That Tim Thomas hit on Sedin is one of my favorite live hockey moments. Legendary
An NHL goalies violence video with no Battlin' Billy Smith!?
Price just casually killing a guy
Tim Thomas what a beauty.
Aaron Dell is one of my favorite goalies just after seeing how often he just says "yeah, I'm hitting someone"
LETS GO DELTA NOTI GANG AND THE INTROS BACK BABY
LETS GO!
Can you do "This is why you pay attention moments" please
I love hockey,
watched this live couldnt believe it does anyone know if the sens player is injured bc of it?
Ron Hextall could have his own video for this. Ed Belfour's slash to the groin
All of Dell’s hits in this video are illegal lol, like cmon bro if you’re gonna hit someone the odd chance you get to as a goalie don’t take a penalty, tbh Tim Thomas does it perfectly, just shove them out of the crease
Aaron Dell compilation
the second I saw this, I knew it was influenced by arron dells hit
Love the way Carey price just stands still
2:00 That hit was DESERVED. I don't care what the rules say, that was the right move.
It was introduced 91-92 season
Dell is now my favorite goalie
Tim Thomas hitting Sedin was an effective move in preventing a scoring chance and the one hit on here that was I see as perfectly legitimate. Price standing up Kreider, especially in context, also fair.
Ron Hextall was one of the best for these
Pov. When you see the goalie charging me run!!!
You should make a One Punch Moments video
Honestly, this is true defense. Hitting a player for getting close to a goalie should be mostly legal, it's a good defensive tactic
Marty Biron could go into the second video. I also remember one of the Vancouver goalies absolutely losing his cool and attacking a player during play
I miss Doc Emmrick he would have been amazing for the first round of the playoffs
The ol uno reverse
Love the viedo❤
Thank you Aaron 🤝
Man do I miss Tim Thomas.. GO BRUINS!!!!!
Price's hit was boss
i think dell should get introduced to what getting hit feels like
What a hit
This is the best sport. I used to be such a fan of soccer, but now every time I watch it or even football, it’s too slow and too drawn out. Long live hockey 🏒
Can we see shorthanded OT winners?
seconded!
