Hola, Today I am turning a BUTTERFLY KNIFE out of Drill Bit, it was very tough to forge rusty drill bit into Butterfly Knife's shape. I used whole bit iron half for blade and other half for handle grips. Watch out the whole video you'll enjoy it.

A balisong, also known as a fan knife, butterfly knife or Batangas knife, is a type of folding pocketknife that originated in the Philippines.
Its distinct features are two handles counter-rotating around the tang such that, when closed, the blade is concealed within grooves in the handles.

    @TheHAZ1983@TheHAZ19832 жыл бұрын
    • I know this is a late reply but swords weren’t that expensive in medieval times for a basic sword it would of been around 6 pence of course this varied a little bit but a thatcher which was a relatively low paying job would pay 3 pence a day so if you were a thatcher you could buy a sword in 2-3 days. But also then there’s some really nice sword that looked nice and were extremely well made and they were most likely reserved for royalty or higher class members of society.

      @dillonwatkins4874@dillonwatkins4874 Жыл бұрын
    • @@dillonwatkins4874 my guess, as someone who doesn’t actually touch swords whatsoever and doesn’t blacksmith, as to why swords weren’t that expensive is because a functional sword could be made with a long piece of metal and the right tools, without worrying too much about fine details. Something like a butterfly knife, even one that was super basic and not nearly as gorgeous as the one in the video, would have been crazy expensive given the amount of time and expertise needed to craft every tiny piece.
