Hola, Today I am forging a Hades Bident out of Thread Tap, it was very tough to forge thread tap in shape of bident. I did some fail forgings and this wasted my lots of time but i never gave up and finally i forged it. Watch out the whole video you'll enjoy it.

A bident is a two-pronged implement resembling a pitchfork. In greek mythology, the bident is a weapon associated with Hades (Pluto), the ruler of the underworld.
Likewise, the three-pronged trident: • Forging POSEIDON'S TRI... is the implement of his brother Poseidon (Neptune), god of the seas and earthquakes.
Ancient Egyptians used a bident as a fishing tool.

    • The great thing about forging is that once you have the basic setup, you can forge/make more tools as your skills advance. Make different shaped hammer heads and throw a handle on it. Tong sets would be a bit more advanced, but you would have all the tools to build more tools!

  • Wonderful. I would have loved to see the two pieces you made out of plastic be made out of either quartz or hard wood instead. With the shaft made a bit longer, this would actually be a good weapon, I think. Like a cross between a spear and a pike...

  • I served an apprenticeship as a tool and die maker. The shop I originally worked in had equipment brought over on the ark by Noah. Boss always said , if you can make it on this stuff you are a real tool maker. I always enjoyed being able to use every tool in the place.

  • Absolutely amazing craftsmanship! Do you have the automatic direction blocks on the surface grinder? You showed changing the direction but all manually. Just curious if you are aware of them or if it was for effect. Either way thanks for the video!

    • Also, there are very obvious flaws. For example the inside edges of the blade. Not to say it still wouldn't look very good but it's nowhere near perfect.
