Injustice 2 is finally here! We've been waiting for the sequel since the first game was released back in 2013. Injustice 2 doesn't disappoint. The story mode brings a full fledged cinematic experience, that makes it feel like you're watching a Justice League movie, better than Batman vs. Superman in my opinion. The cinematics are gorgeous and the story keeps you intrigued throughout. Although I will say I found both endings to be a bit underwhelming. Outside of the story, there's tons of content in this game. There's 29 characters total. Darkseid is a pre-order bonus, and Braniac is an unlockable character if you beat the Story Mode. The roster is huge. The new Multiverse mode is much like Mortal Kombat X's "Living Towers." There are in constant flux, offering different challenges and rewards. The Battle Simulator is the traditional Arcade/Tower/Battles mode. There's loads of gear to unlock. If you're into customizing your fighters, then this game will stay fun for you for a long time. The fighting system is smoother than it was in Injustice 1, the 60fps really helps here. It's definitely a game worth picking up, I high recommend you check it out!

Its honestly amazing seeing a man in a bat suit who has lost everything mulitple times who has more mental and pysical restrain over his actions than a super alien creature coming from a more superior civilization
Batman also had a surrogate-father figure to help him through things and literally his entire life to come to terms with everything he's been though. Superman, on the other hand, has suddenly found himself thrust into a situation where not only did he lose the person he loved above all others, but for the first time in a very long time has he felt completely helpless. I'm not justifying the fact he went off the deep end here, only that I can understand why.

I loved the take on Harley in this. It really shows that villains can be redeemed. I wish a few more of batman's villains can get a story where they are rehabilitated; it would give him something to point to as a reason he doesn't kill.

i like how Bruce falls to his knees out of exhaustion in the end. Shows that it took everything he had, even with the super pill and the kryptonite suit. Makes the win feel more authentic.

The Injustice version of Wonder Woman actually reminds me of Lady MacBeth from William Shakespeare's play "Macbeth". This noblewoman pushed her husband, a general and a war hero of Scotland, to ever greater depravities to fuel his and her own ambitions. By the end of the story, Lord MacBeth was so cynical and morally detached that he no longer needed his wife's influence to commit evil. It makes you want to ask, "Was it all really worth it?"

I think writers took MacBeth story and adapt it there. It is interesting to see how do they fall, comic might tell deeper story in this case. There were few times were they regain some of what they lost only to fall again.

What this game does really well is maintain the fact that Superman is extremely powerful. Everytime within the story that someone has to fight him, it's either Supergirl or he's been exposed to a power weakening substance like red solar power or kryptonite. The writers really kept things consistent like that

Reading the comics, I find this bullshit. Year 1 shows Superman losing control and committing murder, and then enforcing peace of his own accord. Diana fuels the fire, but Superman fully sets himself on that path with no help.

Of all of the KZheadrs who make these "All Cutscenes" videos, you're the only one who really incorporates gameplay into the cutscenes to really make everything feel cinematic. It just sucks having to feel the tension between two characters in a cutscene and then cut to the end of it right away. Thanks, "Gamer's Little Playground."

Same here 💯 That’s Laura Bailey. She’s a very prolific VA in video games and anime dubs, which is how I was first familiar with her voice work. When I first heard Supergirl speak, I thought her voice sounded familiar, looked up the cast, and was pleasantly surprised it was Bailey. An absolute legend in my book 👍🏽

Wonder Woman in this timeline is irredeemably selfish. In the comics you find out she didn't give Superman any time to mourn Lois' death, instead, as Batman put it, stoking his fears and preying his depression to insert herself at his side. She constantly pushes him towards worse and worse extremes, convinces him that he's in the right every time he starts to question himself, and at times, speaks for him especially when dealing with Batman so as not to give Bats any room to speak. She constantly convinces him that everything is Batman's fault until Supes starts projecting all of his regrets onto Bruce, even Green Arrows murder. She refuses to even pass Aquaman's condolences about Lois along, just to keep him to herself. In the grand scheme of things, Scarecrow's right. She's the real villain of the story. Yet she sees what she's doing as an act of love, and honestly, that's kinda terrifying in it's own way. I do hope that future games focus more on that. She really has a lot to answer for, and thus far she's managed to avoid the majority of the blame.

I still play Marvel Ultimate Alliance every once in a while. Fun game for co-op. Aside from that, I've heard Deadpool was really popular though I've yet to play it myself, and Marvel's Spider-Man was one of the best games I've played on the PS4 hands down.

As someone that's never been a Harley Quinn fan, I think she might be my favorite character in Injustice. Between the exploration of her character and the guilt for the part she played in Metropolis destruction in the comics and some really great scenes in Injustice 2, they've really made her one of the most interesting characters. Even her run in with Scarecrow is great. I love the implication that Harley's not so much afraid of the Joker, but terrified of returning to the monster she used to be. Her fear is betraying the faith Batman put in her, despite the fact that she's given him every reason not to trust her. Now, she's one of his most stalwart allies. I seriously encourage anyone that hasn't read the Injustice comics to do so. They really do a great job with Superman's fall from grace, Harley's road to redemption, and just everything. And since we're here anyway, if you want to see a great story about a Superman-esque figure going crazy in a really relatable way, Irredeemable is also really good. The Plutonian's decent into insanity is so much better than something like The Boys where everyone is an amoral prick because fuck you.
Injustice 2 is finally here! We've been waiting for the sequel since the first game was released back in 2013. Injustice 2 doesn't disappoint. The story mode brings a full fledged cinematic experience, that makes it feel like you're watching a Justice League movie, better than Batman vs. Superman in my opinion (haha I had to!!!). The cinematics are gorgeous and the story keeps you intrigued throughout. Although I will say I found both endings to be a bit underwhelming. Outside of the story, there's tons of content in this game. There's 29 characters total. Darkseid is a pre-order bonus, and Braniac is an unlockable character if you beat the Story Mode. The roster is huge. The new Multiverse mode is much like Mortal Kombat X's "Living Towers." There are in constant flux, offering different challenges and rewards. The Battle Simulator is the traditional Arcade/Tower/Battles mode. There's loads of gear to unlock. If you're into customizing your fighters, then this game will stay fun for you for a long time. The fighting system is smoother than it was in Injustice 1, the 60fps really helps here. It's definitely a game worth picking up, I high recommend you check it out!
