Injustice: Gods Among Us was released in 2013 to critical acclaim. It's silky smooth gameplay and deep fighting system make it one of the best fighting games of the last generation. In late 2013 it was released on next gen consoles as the "Ultimate Edition." The package wasn't much different from the base game, other than some additional characters and costumes. There is a noticeable graphical buff, but nothing extreme.
Nonetheless, the story didn't need any additional content to make it amazing. By far one of the best uses of the DC universe in a video game, Injustice has one of the better comic stories in the past decade of video games. There are a couple of pieces of audio that are muted for copyright music, but other than that everything is intact. As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to make one fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy! And if you did, make sure you like, comment and share!

    • @@Wolf-vt9mv It really would yeah, it even get a DC universe version of the MCU based in the Injustice timeline I'd bet people would love. Have different points of Injustice in their own films, Nightwing's death, Zasaz killing Alfred, Green Arrow saving the Insurgents etc.

    • The meaning is brilliant: While they both lost their family, the difference is that batman wasn't responsible for his parents dead. But superman was. He was the "Gun" that took his own family away

    • Yeah because it is a huge difference, especially by Batman’s own standards who isn’t capable of killing a single person because he knew the road it could lead him down. I think this is why Batman has trouble fully empathizing with Clark at first and causes the start of the huge rift between them. Batman knows both Joker and Clark so well that he doesn’t consider for a second that Lois’s murder was Clark’s fault at all. I think he couldn’t even entertain the idea of Clark feeling at fault because Batman deep down would know he might responded this same way and would have trouble fighting against him. Idk if that makes any sense lmao

In the Nolan films, it's cuz he got scared and wanted to leave early, in Harley Quinn, the only reason they even went to the Zorro movie is cuz Bruce didn't want to go to a shareholders meeting and Bruce is the one who insisted on the Crime Alley shortcut, etc.

    • as entertaining as the story is, it truly does kill a lot of the characterizations of the heroes. There's a lot of suspension of disbelief in how the heroes react to things in this story. My number 1 gripe being that Superman would never fall the way he did. He would never have killed The Joker no matter how much he wanted to, just wouldn't have happened. They changed the core essence of Superman to make this story work.

  • Man watching that opening scene again after years, Joker really wanted Superman to kill him, he was really egging him in to do it and Superman played right into his hands thanks to his uncontrollable anger. “You’re much more gullible” is so true. I wonder if Superman insists he’s right because he deep down doesn’t want to believe that ever since he killed the Joker he’s just become the Jokers puppet, or if he really is lost

    • Well, at the end of the day Superman is an alien. He’s not human and since the joker killed off the only real connection Superman had to humanity, or worse yet tricked Superman into killing that link, Superman no longer cares for the human race, and he desires to release his grief, pain, anger and hatred upon the human race.

  • Lantern holding flash back from standing with Billy is exactly one of the reasons Lantern is not trusted nearly as much as Flash going into Injustice 2. Batman was right when he said if the regime was still around he'd still be wearing yellow. Lantern did want to leave the regime, but he was too scared and his yellow lantern abilities run on fear. Without it, he'd just be Hal Jordan again. No lantern at all. He chose to stick with the regime because he'd be powerless otherwise. Flash on the other hand completely turned on the regime the moment Superman executed a kid right in front of him.

  • I always wondered why the Injustice versions constantly lost their fights to their Prime counterparts, but there is a good reason. Under Superman's regime any threats are swiftly put down permanently, usually by Superman himself. That means everyone else has fallen out of practice: they simply don't fight foes nearly as often as they once did.
