My favorite aspect about this fight is how the Trinity just immediately starts working together. There's no big speech, there's only one quip between Superman and Batman beforehand, and there's no begrudging egos to work around. All three just immediately jump into action to take down Doomsday and do what they can to support and back each other up until Doomsday is dead. It's fantastic.

Had they kept Wonder Woman's character a secret throughout the production, this would have been the most surprising appearance yet. A friend of mine had paid no attention to the film's advertisement and was surprised by her appearance.

I love how Batman patiently waited for the right moment to use the kryptonite grenade. Even in such a dangerous moment he's still so calculating. Brilliant!

Batman can become more powerful and competent without any inherent supernatural powers. He was relies on nurtured training (such as scientific knowledge, advanced technologies, detective skills, athletic prowess). He is one of the amazing non-superhuman heroes in my opinions.

Wonder Womans entrance was epic. Supermans entrance gives goosebumps, and Batman swinging from building to building with the lightning striking behind him was just phenomenal. Hands down their best movie.

The real Doomsday is around Steppenwolf level (confirmed by Snyder as Steppenwolf stalemated him, destroying a whole planet in the process). This one is a knockoff, but is almost as strong. Still, we saw that Steppenwolf was capable of beating Wonder Woman, even when she had help from Arthur, Flash and Batman. He struggled, but he managed. And we saw what Superman could do to Steppenwolf when he was healthy. So this all adds up. Doomsday is roughly on par with Steppenwolf. Wonder Woman was capable of fighting Steppenwolf head on, but not capable of winning, same with Doomsday here. This shows that Superman is badly weakened during this fight (you see this especially clear right at the end where he can barely fly) as he'd otherwise be capable of beating Doomsday by himself like he did Steppenwolf. A weakened Superman is only a little bit more powerful than Wonder Woman, meaning similar in speed also. You can still see that he's faster and stronger, but his strength, speed, and especially durability and regeneration is lacking thanks to the Kryptonite as it keeps his cells from functioning.
@@Jedilord882 She definitely doesn't rival Supes. She's still weaker here, and Supes is like 10% power here because of the Kryptonite from the Batman fight mere minutes prior, not to mention it was still very close to him all throughout this brawl.

@@luthfiahadianand as time went on seeing the trajectory of everything becoming bright, colorful, and comedic it makes you wish this story was done and told because these movies have rewatchability all these years later, lately everything new from DC and MCU is 1 an done no need to rewatch for me which is unfortunate because I was loving how good Marvel was doing and if WB didn’t have their heads in their asses the Snyderverse could’ve been complete and made a profit, maybe not mcu profit but at least it would’ve been more profitable compared to the last few DCEU movies and it would’ve ended on Flashpoint going into a canon reboot.

Man, Snyder gets Superman. He knows how to make his powers felt by the audience. That thunderous noise in the cloud like a lightning strike as he sped towards Doomsday is beautiful.

This fight scene will never get old. I’ve probably watched it over 300 times. The only thing I wish we got more of was some team combos like we saw with Wonder Woman tripping Doomsday and Superman spearing him into the ground. After that it mainly fell to 1v1 fighting which I’m not complaining about at all. This movie will forever hold a core nostalgic memory in my life.

I don’t think most people realize that Bruce seeing gods, monsters, and literal aliens fighting from 1:50 - 1:58 is what sparks his idea for the justice league within the DCCU. Imagine being witness to this kind of power, destruction, and supernatural ability.

That actually one of my favorite shots in the movie. At that point Batman basically takes the seat of us, the viewers, watching this fight unfold. It really shows how powerless and human he is compared to these Gods and monsters. I love this version of Batman because of how human he is.

If anyone noticed, at 4:29, when Doomsday was defeated and fell down, the spear that gone through his heart literally got contact with the ground behind his back and kind of push out the other way. Most films that have a person penetrated by a spear would just lied down cold and the spear would just stay right where it is instead of being pushed out or seep deeper into the person's body by the ground. A very nice detail added to this film I'd say!

it's really interesting how a director can flesh out a character very differently. Patty brings out WW's compassion and traditional heroism the best but Zack draws her warrior abilities and her thrill of the fight the best as well. I'm impressed that Gal can do both sides of WW really well too!

I think this is the most powerful version of Wonder Woman in live action. Even in Zack Snyder's Justice League, she looks weaker against Steppenwolf. In BvS she takes brutal blows from Doomdsday and then laughs and fights again.
This is one of my favorite superheroe movies of all the times. I mean, I've never liked the character of Superman until I've watched Man of Steal. Then I said to myself, well I think I like this Superman. But in this movie, I finally loved it. Henry Cavil showed me a vulnerable Superman that is not almighty but truly a man.

I even didn't watch the Man of Steel because of the things you mentioned because i had zero interest in the character but bvs finally got me interested but of course only in this particular iteration of the character and i might add in this particular movie since the magic of this movie is never going to be repeated ever again, there's just something about it. It was really interesting to behold this version of the superman. Needless to say after the bvs i checked out the Man of Steel.
I love the way it takes all three of them to take him down. Diana to trap him, Bruce to weaken him, and Clark to deliver the killing blow.

@@misterniceguy7997 Not really, Superman pushes Doomsday into orbit, smashes him into a fuel depot, and while Wonder Woman hides behind her shield Superman takes the full brunt of Doomsday's expansion blast. Doomsday also tosses Wonder Woman around as you can see just before she cuts his arm off. The one advantage Wonder Woman has over Superman is that she is trained in martial combat, while Superman relies more on his overpowering strength. This is likely why Superman is being tossed around, without the advantage of his strength he is a mediocre fighter, but certainly much stronger than any of the Justice League.

I don’t think people understand just how epic this is. This is the first time we got The Trinity in a live action movie and it was incredible. This fight is right out of a comic book- I get chills every time I watch it.

Watching this in the theaters had me super hyped and with chills throughout my body, and it still does every time I watch this fight. Wonder Women’s echoing battle cry while entering the fight, the music, Superman’s heat vision fight with Doomsday, Wonder Women clearly enjoying the fact that Doomsday is a worthy opponent, since she hasn’t fought anybody since Ares, everything is perfect. WB sucks for not having faith in Zach Snyder.

Its the cringy jokes, i'm telling ya. And this kind of dialogue is getting pretty old after one decade of overusing, it e as fun back indo 2014, but now it feels out of place in most scenes. Snydercut is getting great amounts of love simply because it offers something far different from Marvel.

when i was young, batman in my eyes was way different from now. he does his job terribly, letting joker out every single time. but as grown up, i can some sort related to him about not killing criminal things because considering killing as some kind of addiction, killing one will make your urge to look for the next kill.
In all superhero movies BvS had the best action scenes for me. I enjoyed every sec of this action masterpiece. Chaotic ❤️

@@lostalx First of all Snyder confirmed only a God can kill another God, hence he made Diana chop Steppenwolf's head off, next it was a teamwork but Superman did the highest damage on him. Third Flash runs that way because he runs like it's speed skating, like how the speed force is a separate dimension exists in the universe and when he is in it, he needs to use technic like that to be the most efficient, remember when Bruce asked about Flash' suit and he said he does competitive skating?
This is what I love about Snyder. He can bring those mythical god fights to life. Although he always makes Superman stoopid but the action scenes are undeniably brilliant

The thing that makes me love this clip is 4:06. The tremendous will power is incredible. Superman uses his other hand to grab onto one of doomsday’s spikes. In order to push the spear deeper into doomsday, he needs to use the leverage of the spike, therefore pulling it deeper into himself. He truly did have indomitable willpower.
For me, it's the load of wrath coming out of Doomsday as he's about to die 4:21 - no matter how strong you get on this earth, you're going back to your creator

Man of steel, BVS, watchmen, dark knight rises. all these movies got hate but we all respect it now when we realized that movies with a dark story is better than a movie with comedy and horrible quips like JL and avengers AOU.

Batman is definitely the Dark Souls player in this scene. Completely outmatched so dodges like a boss and applies a debuff so the OP phantoms can do the work.
Love the part where Superman breaks the sound barrier as he’s flying down, right in the middle of the Wonder Woman entrance. This was Superman’s fight. Thank you DC for reminding us of that.

Wonder Woman was so underrated in this fight. I feel at the end Superman and Batman were the main characters when she trapped him, cut his leg off, cut his arm off. And weakened him a whole lot. She did more work than anyone. You see Superman get thrown around while she is just grinning the whole time

I love how no matter how much plot armor and prep time, the only thing Batman can do in this situation is duck and cover. This is exactly the scenario that would happen if he were to truly go against a Superman that really wanted to kill Bruce Wayne.

I think it was less about Superman and more about Batman. It was very slow in parts. Besides the Truth is that Batman would really not have a chance to beat Superman. People like to talk about how smart Batman is but Superman has superior intellect. He could have taken out Batman from a distance out of Batman’s range.

This scene is perfection, just like the DC Trinity. Zack Snyder captured it so perfectly. It's such a shame we probably won't get to see these three together again.

3:30 Is by far my favourite scene in this entire clip. In spite of the overwhelming strength of this apocalyptic monstrosity, Batman's supportive element shines through to help weaken this beast and circumvent his regenerative abilities. Absolutely phenomenal.

I enjoyed this better than Endgame last fight. Its the amount of destruction, speed, power and each character staying true to who they are and what they can do. Imagine if WW was not teased in trailers nor announced to be in this movie and kept secret and she appeared to save Batman. Every one would have truly gone crazy.

WW is cool but Superman’s sonic boom entrance then his silhouette amidst the explosion, and the laser beam scene is COOL AF. Henry’s action “poses” are perfection. 🔥
I would say this is one of my top 3 best DCEU live-action fights I have seen, Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman the iconic trio of DC against Doomsday. Amazing fight scene in my opinion.

The scene sets itself apart from other superhero films. Didn't need hero poses, or comedic moments. Just pure combat, what the people want. It's amazing how each actor portrays their role so realistically too. The physical pain of using laservision for too long. Batman's frustration at being seemingly useless. WW battle cries not being excessive. The small things
