  • Absolute legend! I saw Buchecha commenting on this fight in a podcast and he said he felt he didn't prepare as well as he should have, even as well as he did for the first match. He really felt it after he tried to take Roger down and couldn't. You gotta respect him for doing it in a room so full of Gracies, specially Kyra being the organizer. There is no one like Roger though.

    • You must be from a younger generation! Royler, Leo Vieira, Shaolin, Fernando Augusto "Terere" De Silva, Jacare Sosa, , Renzo Gracie, Rickson Gracie, Saulo Ribeiro and Fabio Leopoldo Silva (Who personally taught me the Ezekiel Choke) are the ones who inspired me! However Roger Gracie Gomes did carry the sport on his back for awhile!

  • I can't believe it was 7 years ago my man! I remember being so geeked up for days before the match. I knew the pressure got to Buchecha, he never made that blue belt mistake before. All grace to the Gracies. Osss By the way, this decision was pre-planned. BJJ could not allow a Gracie to be an all time #2. Documentary upcoming.
