  • Roger is just on another level. He made a 10x world champion monster look like a child. An this analysis is the best I have ever seen. Great work!

  • Love Roger's focus on fundamentals and the basics of jiu-jitsu. Put yourself in a defensive posture and wait for the opponent to make a mistake, tire out, or simply become frustrated. It's simple, elegant, and something I hope to continue to aspire to on my own BJJ journey.

  • A fantastic commentary and fit someone that doesn't know grappling this will teach you a lot. It's amazing how much work goes on inside the circle (clinch). It doesn't look as much at first but when you break it down, as you guys have done, you really see the detail. Fantastic video and I don't know how people could dislike this video.

  • I was a student of Shawns back in the old Renzo gym over the methadone clinic. Sucked when he moved to the west coast. I loved his style of teaching. Him and Danaher are the best teachers ive ever encountered. What most people dont know, is Shawn is somewhat of a prodigy. He received his black belt from Renzo in only 4 years!

  • I really enjoyed your vid!! great analysis with a friendly, calming voice! This would be my only little point of adding to roger gracies style/ technique and fight overall. He stayed calm all the time, took his time and was patiently waiting for things to happen. In my opnion this makes the better fighter in most of the cases. If you meet somebody at your level and you know you're good, only true warriors keep the abilitys to stay calm and focused! Mostly ppl start to rush then and with rushing there come the mistakes (as i hapenned with buchecha).

  • Far out man, well done. What a great commentary. I'm a BJJ enthusiast but like a lot of people I know who also love BJJ, sometimes is very hard to watch comps, this makes very enjoyable and to be honest a better job than Gracie breakdown. The video marks really helped as well. Keep'm coming.
