  • I do wish they wouldn't say "heaviest rainfall in 75 years". This gives a miss impression. It's the heaviest rainfall since records began 75 years ago!

    • @@SupremeST25 No because if it rained like this 75 years ago then it's not that exceptional - it's just something that happens every now and again. If it is exceptional then it maybe be related to climate change but we don't know.

  • Isn't this seasonal? I remember something similar back in the early 90s.. you would think with all that construction they'd build in some flood control.. or a lake basin to save it all. It isn't a new problem. Floods are harsh to go through. They really mess up buildings fast.
