One of the scariest things about guns to newcomers is the kickback and sound, both of which would be much worse with such a small gun than a regular .22 pistol. I'm very comfortable around guns and very aware about the safety as well and I would only recommend a gun like that to those who can say the same

Lemme tell ya something - my dad is a military guy and has fired this thing. and some other experts have declared that this is fine for self defence but is too weak to be classified as a real gun, as in an ordinary one with a barrel, grip, etc. so don’t think you’re the best and the most knowledgable guy

I bought my father one of those personal alarms, but not for self defense. I got him one in case he gets into a accident since he's a senior citizen. But those personal alarms also send a signal to the local police station.

On a serious note I carry a SOCP dagger where I can’t carry a firearm, and carry both dagger and pistol when I can. The dagger helps you get distance from an attacker so then you can draw and shoot your firearm.
