I've been doing pushups about a year now. Having great results. Last 4 months I was doing diamond puah ups first followed by normals. Worked so well. Had to go back to normals though. But it upped my strength. ...tried military pushups toofor a short while,,,ones with elbows straight back,,,, they hurt my shoulders. So, for me normals work great. I train every other day,, pushups

I can’t do like pushups, I pulled my abdominal wall doing them and every time I do them it would be a sharp pain that would persist for weeks. Getting worse every time I’d take a deep breath I can do normal or decline push ups but not pike

I did pushups this way for years now I have two torn labrum’s.
Don't forget the rear of the delt. You need to work it to keep muscle symmetry, but also to keep your shoulders from wanting to hunch.
Bro please help, I’m a small guy, not like completely Tibet but my torso muscles alongside my arms and back are kinda lame, I have nice legs but I can’t get any extra mass on my bones, not just strength of the stuff I already have but like actually putting extra meat on me. What do I do? Will I always be this thin? I want to look better and be stronger. I am like 6 feet tall idk if that matters or not… be a friend and tel me why I am unable to get more meat on me.

Rear delts need more help than the front delts... Front delts already get plenty of work from other chest and shoulder exercises, they don't need more.
I like the set up at the end with pressing off the bench
However, if you're a fat ass start with push-ups on your knees. Then move to this more difficult push-ups because you'll fuck up your shoulders.
This is one exercise that always felt clumsy to me. I prefer a barbell press.

Just do 300-500 reps of knuckle push ups (on bed if you like)/push ups instead... You will do a better job. Try everyday, if not possible, don't sweat it, try when you recover again. I know a guy who is 5ft7inches, 87kilo, cut like a fucking granite statue, he can do 200 non stop (no rest between reps) full rom knuckle push ups... Also he can do 200 atg squats in a set. Dude eats peanut butter sandwiches most of the time, doesn't even cook meat or buys protein, he eats meat if he goes to a restaurant. He benches 200kilo for a single (I saw that 2 years ago, and it was his first time benching)... and he wasn't like this before at all, he was an average guy, skinny noodle arms. Push ups are the most badass exercise ever existed. Definitely go lift weights but also definitely incorporate the regular push up, because push ups just make you ultra strong, and you don't lose your max push ups ever even if you stop working out, at the very most you can lose about 20 percent of your strength/muscle, but it will come back within 3 weeks once you start training, and that's a guarantee.
I'm not able to do complete push ups, I do them with my knees bent, plus my right wrist hurts a little, I try to follow yoga teachers to put my wrists in a correct way.
