  • Amazing how 2 people with literally nothing more than 2 acoustic guitars can keep an audience of thousands spellbound. No light show, no special effects, nothing but their virtuosity and their passion for and the power of their music.

    • not trying to harsh your vibe, but they clearly also use effect pedals off stage controlled by some stage hands. The sound is not pure acoustic

  • Thanks so much for posting. How can 250 people hate this. I am a piano player/singer and just had a gig. People have no idea how hard it is to reach even a mediocre level, much less play like this. Now I can play some Chopin or Tchaikovsky which is close, but these two are playing like Bach on crystal meth, only way I can think to describe it. Love to all, especially the haters, because they need it most. John M. Spence

  • Isn't it great to see such talent, dedication and endless hours of practice pay off? These are now a worldwide act, but they had life very difficult for years. And it's probably still tough, with record companies taking what you have, and people illegally downloading your tunes. Yet in the face of it all, Rod y Gab persist. I'm happy to say that they lived here in Dublin (Ireland) for ~5 yrs, before ever making a name for themselves. Well done both, you are an inspiration in the face of adversity.
